Thank god the coffee was back, because Rosa was going to need plenty of it as she considered the meeting she'd just had with a client about a potential job. It was honestly pretty standard, boiler-plate work: one party, suspecting the other party of cheating, so you turn to a PI to do a little tailing and collect some evidence to make a case in what will likely be a big, dramatic blow-out between both parties, but, hey, as long as she got paid, then...

...the problem, really, was the fact that the client...had been a squirrel.

Which, nothing against squirrels (okay, no, plenty against squirrels), but also...ma'am. You were a squirrel? Literally your entire existence on this island revolved around you scurrying around and sticking your paws into other people's business and you still couldn't determine whether your squirrelfriend was cheating on you? It seemed a little weird. And something to instead annoy the troopers with. And sure, Rosa had done a case involving a chimp and a chicken before, but taking this one on felt like it would set a precedent that she wasn't sure she wanted to establish.

Plus, the proposed payment of rum and acorns was going to need some negotiating, she felt.

Then again, if nothing else came down the pipeline any time soon....

Kitty had told Tino that if more people weren't using the mechanical bull, then it made no sense to keep renting it after this week. She figured that was the end of it.

Wrongfully, as she got in today to see the specials board:

Somehow she felt like she'd lost control of the situation.

Surprise, surprise, it was another slow day at the fire station. Since he cleaned as much as he could and did every checklist he could find, Buck did not feel at all bad about spending his shift breaking in the punching bag Eddie bought him. It was training!

Jeff's little (well, big) leprechaun hat came in, and Wanda was just thrilled with how it looked on him. A large pot and some fake gold totally completed his look. The pièce de résistance was a rainbow arching over the store. In theory.

She was having a little trouble making it happen. She might have to get a plastic one if she couldn't get the magic to stick.

The Photo Hut - Tuesday

Liz had had a nice weekend visiting Prompto’s home world and she found when she came downstairs to open up the store for the day that she didn’t have nearly as much work to catch up on as she had been doing for the last couple of weeks.

She still had a few more general admin tasks to complete but once that was done she decided to take the opportunity to return to sorting out her photos that she had taken from the Africa trip and she had her photo memory board with her to decide what photos she wanted to put on it.

He tried to grab the mop? from Tiny's head, but failed miserably.

"Oh, fine, continue to wear it if you must," he said, lifting his chin. "I'm playing Sinatra tonight!"

Sure, Lucifer. You played Sinatra almost every night.
