The impressive wall of Spaghetti-Os cans was still up, and you could still take advantage of that very exciting "buy one get one free" sale, too. Surely, the customers were just clamoring in for their canned pasta (some even with hot dogs or tiny little meatballs!).

But Apu had also spent the overnight setting up some signs and features around the store to highlight products brought to them by women-owned companies for International Women's Day, sighing and shaking his head when Shunsui's inevitable comment of "But, Apu-san, I celebrate International Women every day~ ♥" dropped, which just resulted in Apu calling Shunsui 'spring water' under his breath, and being particularly virtuous about it, while he was at it.

Summer squinted at the stage a little when she came in, where the zombies still looked like they were dressed up for Purim, and she really couldn't really tell if they'd just forgotten to take off their costumes, if they'd decided they just really liked dressing that way, or (and this was her strongest guess, really) certain aspects of the costumes were actually, like, load-bearing and were helping to keep them together.

Whatever the answer was, she did not particularly care to find out.

But she did also bring in a case of Spaghetti-Os that were totally up for grabs if anyone wanted any.

"All right, I've got a pen," Nancy told the woman on the other end of the line, with said pen poised above her notepad so she could write down the information she was being given. "So -- what are we investigating?"

Nancy took down what was verbalized to her in careful, quick short hand, before pausing and actually turning to look at the phone in disbelief.

"You want me to find out who took the cookies from your cookie jar?"

A pause.

"No, I understand it wasn't you. I wasn't going to suggest it was. That wouldn't make sense."

It couldn't be the woman calling, of course. But then who?

You know what was pretty much the worst thing that could happen to you, as a sex shop owner?

No, a silicone shortage was a good guess! As was, like, the occasional No Sex Week around here. Both of those would be terrible!

But Irene, who was on her hands and knees and chasing tiny, marble-like orbs around her shop, would like to put 'anal beads that de-stringed themselves during shipping' at the very top of the list.

"You did the intake form, you get to deal with the feeding," Danny warned Ralph. He had his own (Steve's) paperwork to do, thank you.

Fantasy Costco, Wednesday Afternoon

Liliana wasn't sure how, but the windows of the shop seemed even dirtier than before. If she hadn't dealt with the same exact issue at home, she would be more confused and irate about it. But this was apparently just How Things Were Here (much like the fast-changing weather) and so it merited no more than a sigh and bumping up 'obtain staff' a few notches higher on her mental to-do list.

It wasn't until she opened the door and found she could barely squeeze through with all the boxes in the way that she began to clue in that Something Was Amiss. She had bargained for a delivery of one box of artifacts per week and even assuming Nicol Bolas was being particularly generous (ha!) and send an extra box for her first week...there were far too many boxes here. She counted fifteen before she gave up.

"What in the Blind Eternities...?"

Contrary to first and perhaps even second impressions, Liliana was smart. Certainly smart enough to do basic math. And basic math was adding up to an answer she did not like.

And so, as she so frequently did when reality was displeasing to her (as it so frequently was), Liliana elected to ignore it for the time being. Relenting, she used a touch of black mana to at least clean the windows; she'd already done enough cleaning in the past few-- for the time being, but she at least wanted to be able to see the outside. Then, propping this door open too, just in case, she dusted off her hands and got to work, opening up her boxes to take stock of her new inventory.

At least she wouldn't have to worry about running low on anything.

The Devil's Nest, Wednesday Evening

The vibe at the Devil's Nest on this particular night was sleepy. Yes, it was kind of an off atmosphere for a night club. No, Octavia didn't really know what to do about it.

For the most part, she was just trying not to nod off behind the bar. It was a really persuasive sort of mood that had fallen upon the club, okay? She was doing her best.

Community Centre Class | Dinosaurs 101 - Wednesday Morning

“This week we’re going to be covering the Ankylosaurus , this is an armoured dinosaur that lived in the Late Cretaceous Period, between 70 million and 66 million years ago,” Cutter began that week’s lecture, “it was found in North America and the Ankylosaurus was one of the largest ankylosaurs,” he nodded at Connor with a smile to continue the lecture.

Connor nodded and picked up the pile of papers and began handing out the worksheets as he continued.
"The Ankylosaurus was a herbivore and used its boney body plats, spines and clubbed tail to ward off attacks from predators. Some paleontologists believe that this dinosaurs spiked head and clubbed tail were powerful enough in a tight to break legs and jaw bones of carnivorous dinosaurs that would try and attack. At an average length of around 20 feet and standing nearly 6 feet or mre in height, these intimidating dios weights twice as much as a fully grown male rhinoceros, making them quite intimidating even against predators like the raptor or t-rex." Connor had finished speaking by the time the papers were passed out and he was standing back at the front of the class, and handed the lecture back to Cutter with a grin.

“An important fact about the Ankylosaurus is that it’s part of a group of ornithischian, which is a member of herbivorous dinosaurs comprising of Triceratops and all the dinosaurs that are more closely related to it than to birds,” Cutter continued, “and that despite the group name, ornithischians are not actually related to birds,”

“For your research assignment this week, we would like you to work on a report on the Ankylosaurus and Ankylosaurus family and to make notes on the particular,”
