"No, Apu-san," Shunsui informed his dedicated and apparently very thoughtful employee that day, "I do not think that there's some deeper meaning to the fact that today is officially the first day of Summer as well as National Selfie Day. I believe that's what's called a coincidence."

But now that it was in his head....he kind of couldn't help thinking about it a little more. But, of course, he very quickly went back on his willingness to consider that Apu followed any sort of worthwhile logic in his holiday handlings every single time someone made a purchace and he triumphantly struck a gong. It was going to make napping just that slight bit more difficult.

Caritas | Wednesday

Annie had arrived at Caritas much, much earlier than she usually did on Wednesday – so early, in fact, that Tino had initially tried to shoo her out before Annie had instead shoved an armload of pink birthday decorations at him and told him to make himself useful.

And thus, by the time Caritas approached its normal opening time, the bar had been fairly covered – haphazardly in spots, and tackily over the top – in pink fringe, pink birthday balloons, a truly silly amount of pink glitter scattered around (thankfully, they still had that vacuum), and a banner draped above the bar.

The specials were a little different from what most people were probably used to, too.

Fandom Museum- Wednesday

So Connor was a little late getting to the Museum to open up that day. He had made the mistake of taking a walk by the Park, forgetting all about shenanigans and yup, he had been roped into participating. And there was chocolate pudding involved so.... naturally he needed a shower and a change before heading in to work. But he was there now, doors open, a stack of books on the desk, and he was there should anyone have any questions or need anything.

The Devil's Nest, Wednesday Evening

While Caritas was happening, the other club in town was quiet. And seemed to have all its correct inventory, both of which were things she approved of.

She'd also poured herself a glass of mock-brandy, and was spending most of her evening at the ax range. It was just that sort of night, somehow.
