So. There was a yellow pig oinking his way through the aisle of Turtle & Canary that Monday, and she was pretty sure the cheese panda had given Apu some new cheese-related ink earlier, but honestly? Summer was far more concerned about the customer who came in to buy just nine bags of sliced almonds and a small container of sesame seeds.

And that's it.

Just nine bags of sliced almonds and some sesame seeds*.

She kept wondering if she should call some sort of federal hotline or something to make a report.

With everything settled again after last week's...excitement, Prompto went down to the shop that morning with the intention of getting straight to work and making up for the lost time last week. He was going to make sure everything was nice and organized, maybe even take a stab at some of the computer work so that Liz didn't have as much to worry about in that regard throughout the week, and update the website a little bit, maybe look into snagging a gig or two over the weekend since he had a good feeling about it not being tentative due to Fandom weirdness....

But then he started to unpack a shipment of some new tripod heads that immediately snagged his attention and demanded to be explored further.

"Ooooooooh."

Well. So much for getting work done! But if anyone had any questions about a Manfrotto Xpro Ball Tripod Head with a Top Lock, boy, was Prompto going to have you covered!

"Did you get the goods?"

Rosa eyed the delivery guy suspiciously as he handed her the bag from Turtle & Canary, which she quickly opened and did a throughout search of to confirm that everything was there.

"Good. Alright, let me get your money."

At which point she dug out the receipt, looked it over to see how much she owed them, and then immediately frowned.

"Nice try," she said. "I'm not paying for those sesame seeds, though."

Monday: Covent Garden Flowers

Nell was still all smiles today, if a little tired after a restless night. She was looking forward to class today and a chance to tell the warrior women about last Thursday.

She was also looking forward to Tuesday. And Thursday. And who knew what else?

The flowers seemed particularly cheerful as well and kept leaning over to hug the youngest flowers for some reason. But the most surprising event was the delivery midmorning of peach ice cream for some sort of national peach ice cream day apparently. Nell wasn't one to argue and there was more than enough for her and any customers who might stop by and even enough to offer people tomorrow night as well.

Eliot had shown up for work today! Why? Honestly, who could tell. He just happened to remember he was meant to be working on the day he was meant to be working.

Was he actually working? Pfffft. He was sprawled on the floor by the sales desk with his packed "lunch", munching his way through brie and grapes and scrolling through celebrity gossip on his phone.

Like a boss.

The Perk, Monday morning

Duke's boat was . . . uncomfortable right now. Lucifer had been avoiding it, clearly (Duke was pretty sure it was because he hadn't wanted to open up about everything on queue, which he got, but also resented), and he and Octavia were in kind of a quiet detente after the whole Ilian thing (which Duke knew was totally his own fault, and was determined to work out in his own head rather than spill onto Octavia, who didn't deserve it). And there was only so much fishing even Duke could do.

And sometimes, in his experience, the best way to spend time alone was to do so around people. So he was in town. At the coffee shop, which had a tendency to get a bit crowded on occasion. Just hanging out, drinking an un-Irish coffee, watching the baristas go about their barista-y business.

Missing Audrey, who at least was always happy to daydrink with him, even when they probably shouldn't.

Vi was tidying up the collection of two person games, because boy did they have a lot of those about the place, when one in particular caught her eye.

So now she had broken out the tumbling tower they had for Dread games and was building it up. Because reasons.
