Fandom Island Museum, Thursday Daytime

Steven was still getting his feet under him, so to speak. Each day made it easier but it was a process, not an instant switch to being better.

As such, Llewellyn accompanied Steven on the walk to work, and kept him company while Steven got set up and confirmed everything was as he expected and remembered it to be. Then, with a kiss and a directive to text or call if he wanted anything, even just to chat, Llewellyn headed out before the Museum was officially open.

After which Steven, having unlocked said doors for the public, sat at his spot behind the Welcome Desk and tried to busy himself with simple tasks that needed taking care of but not too much concentration.

He may have managed to wait almost an hour before texting Llewellyn a Hello, you. Which he thought was very strong of him, actually, willpower-wise.

He wasn't sure yet what he was doing at lunch but otherwise he stayed by his desk.

Eleanor felt a little bit bad about having missed work last week due to being a bit under the weather, although, by the sounds of it, she had probably actually lucked out a little bit. She'd swung by the post office on her way in to send off the Squishmallows she'd gotten from Gray's pile to send off to her sister and her cousins, and then headed into the shop for her shift that week. She planned to work extra hard to make up for last week, but, really, there wasn't exactly a lot of things to do to constitute extra hard work, but, if she spotted something, she would jump right on it.

She was, admittedly, probably just going to spend more time trying teas and doing research, though, let's be honest.

Wellspring Arms and Meditation Center- Thursday

Sabine hadn't been back here yet, and she'd decided that she had enough free time, she might as well fix that as long as there wasn't an actual reason for her not to. How she ended up with her old job back was kind of a mystery, because she had not intended on that. Even if it kind of felt fitting, with how things tended to be going for her.

So since she still had that free time, she was starting today and refamiliarizing herself with the place. Mostly by finding the spots where she'd left doodles years ago. And of course there was the Grogu-featured mural in the meditation room which honestly was some of her best work.

Working, drowning in nostalgia... same thing.

The Halloween decorations were down and packed away; even the roving bouncy dice around the shop now stuck to a more generally autumnal palette, though whether they were just swapping out with each other or actually changing color Steph couldn't say. Actually, she preferred not to guess just because it was a fun little mystery.

As for Steph, she looked a lot more effortlessly cheerful than she had in a little while, now that the worst part of her year was behind her. She couldn't say why one of the games she was restocking today kept making her think of Chloe, though. Blackwell hadn't been anything like that.

The Infinite Consortium, Thursday Afternoon

Liliana hadn't been hungover yesterday (but would have been delighted to know how many people had been, sign of a good party), she'd been too busy bustling around being a hostess to drink much. But she'd still taken it easy yesterday, cashing in on the promised two (2) spoilings and shamelessly angling for more.

Today she was back to work and yet...oddly at loose ends? The event she'd been gearing up for was over, the island was back to normal, she couldn't make any movement forward on killing any of her demonic creditors until she found them, which she couldn't do from here...

She supposed she could organize all the magic swords and blades, but...ugh.

Pixie Dust; Thursday [11/02].

Boc was already missing all the costumes, although what remained of the Halloween stuff was relegated to a small corner of the store at a heavily discounted price. But he liked all the interesting designs and sometimes bright colors, and while he did really enjoy sweaters, too, he felt that a lot of the jackets and parkas that were coming in left a lot to be desired on the level of interest and creativity.

Which was why he was experimenting a little, which lead to a good deal of him adding and removing capes to the coats to see if he liked that better.

The results were...mixed, at best.

Fix & Clean- Thursday Afternoon

Ok so there had been a lot going on, including some things that had called him off the island for a while. But Dwight was back and trying to get focused back on work. The holidays were always a bit of a rough time for him, but he had always managed and he would do the same this year.

So with Snopy happily running around re-exploring the shop like it had been a year, rather than the month or so, since he had last been there, Dwight began working on taking inventory. Not before he topped off his cup of coffee of course- because there were priorities to be had now that he was back.

Normally Liz liked to get some admin work done when she came down to the store but this week she was busy going through and sorting out the photos that she had taken at the party on Halloween. There were quite a few photos to go through so that was taking up most of her time, even though every now she was trying to stop and go back to finishing off the end of month financial report since that still needed to be worked on and after the events of last week she was more behind than usual.

Despite that the photos were still her main focus because she definitely didn’t mind delaying working on the financial report if she could.
