You know what? Most of the time, the holidays Apu was so insistent on celebrating were annoying and a thorn in Prompto's side and something that made him kind of dread going into work on Friday, but every once in a while? That guy actually did something very cool, and today was definitely one of those days, and Prompto's camera was popping of as he flitted around the store to get all sorts of good shots and angles of the large, colorful, illuminated jellyfish lanterns that had been put up everywhere to celebrate National Jellyfish Day.

Like, gorgeous. He kind of wanted to come back later tonight to see how they'd all look with the lights turned down...

He also thought it was great that Apu had put out some information on ocean conservatory projects to help support jellyfish in the wild, although he felt that deciding to have a 25% off sale on all jams, jellies, and gelatin was a little off the mark, though.

Even though Graham had announced the Jelly Bean Party at the Maaaaaaagpie Empooooor~rium tonight, he knew not everyone had the chance to catch radio, so he was absolutely sending out a text to all his friends and pretty much anyone else that Fandom decided needed to know about as soon as he got to the store that morning after his broadcast (and after picking up breakfast, because he was really craving waffles after that!), and then he very, very quickly took care of all his usual tasks when he came in to get them out of the way so he could work on making a big sign to put up for all passersby to see:

JELLY BEAN PARTY!
Here! Friday! Tonight!
Bring your favorite jelly beans
and let's PARTY!

And, with that done, and without there being...much set-up involved in a jelly bean party, Graham then decided to show his new best friend, Squire Axe O'Lotl, around the store (Garret, it turned out, was going to be spending the day with Triumph in the stables--cavies gotta cavy!), which eventually lead into....well, an adventure.

And adventure that basically meant having Axe A'Lotl axing a lot of the shelves and boxes, with a great deal of enthusiasm and sound effects, in their great hunt to discover the mysterious famed Jellybean Tree, so that they may chop in down in time for the grand Jelly Bean Party!

Look. He had fun here, alright?

Trooper Station, Friday

The Troopers today were involved in some sort of game that, as far as Watts could tell, involved building towers out of ‘fun size’ chocolate bars.

Watts himself? Perched on his desk, working away at the latest page in his Chinese language book. While occasionally checking his mobile telephone for messages as much like yesterday, he’d told Steven to feel free to text or call if he wanted anything.

The Perk | Friday Afternoon

Irene was, honestly, kind of thrilled beyond measure to have her regular coffee shop back after last week's hijinks. Not to offend the people of the great cities of Boston or Seattle (more than she already had, anyway), but the chains proffered last week were, categorically, just not what she had wanted nearly ever in her life.

She had a spot of work to do (actual work for once, not just people watching and vaguely illegal online activities), so after deliberating over what tea she'd like and selecting an entirely-too-seasonally-early-but-still-delicious-sounding scone, Irene found herself a cozy little table where she could sit with her laptop and go over the previous quarter's sales.

And also people watch. Old habits, dying hard, et cetera.

Rey's warehouse- Friday afternoon

When Rey came in today there was a minor flood, thanks to the woodchucks somehow being able to turn on the weather controls but not being able to turn them off again. It was a big warehouse so it wasn't a flood flood, but it was still a mess she was really annoyed at having to clean up.

So around that she banned the woodchucks from the course and also sent Anakin a text just saying Maybe a cage around the controls, will explain later. And there was a lot of grumbling about being wasteful.
