The Photo Hut; Tuesday [09/24].

Prompto had taken so many pictures the other week when Liliana took them all to that musical festival out over in Strixhaven that he had only just the other day managed to cultivate and organize all of them, and now that he'd done, that wanted to go through and touch up a few of them, but, most importantly, he was going through some of them on the computer and comparing them thoughtfully to some notes that he'd taken to really focus on some particular ones that he wanted to put together for...

Something. Never you mind what! But whatever it was, he was pretty honed in and fixated on it today, which meant that he might actually get some good work on it done up until something happened to distract him and then it was all over, man. Productivity for Prompto was such a delicate thing, but he was determined.

Even if, occasionally, he did have to sort of pause and smile stupidly at the screen at the photos as he remembered just how nice that whole day had been.

Infinite Consortium - Tuesday

Another day at the Infinite Consortium, and another day of…. Well to be honest it was mostly Dean barely paying attention to the shop and spending all his time on his phone.

“Yeah, you’ll need a silver dagger but you need to anoint in a mixture of holy oil, sage, myrrh and salt. Where do you find that? None of that? Really? What do you have?…. Yeah, you’ll need a really need to hit the church and Penzey’s. It’s a spice store. What do you think sage is?”

It was going to be a long day.

The park- Tuesday morning

Rey was back from her trip home, and was both looking to get back to her routine and to get away from animals for a bit. Training was being moved to the park today, where she could kind of relax while doing lightsaber drills outdoors, in the time they had before she started complaining about cold weather. (Aka five degrees cooler.)

She'd forgotten about the flamingoes. Whatever, they wouldn't throw things at her.

Tuesday: Plant Parenthood

Nell was happily working in the store today. She knew Steven would be by later so they could harvest some honey and she was really looking forward to that. In the meantime she took care of the plants in the back and restocked the shelves. There seemed to have been quite a run on some of her lotions, so she made a note to make up some more of those when she had some time.

Needful Things, Tuesday

Logan -- Remy's Logan, the properly short one -- had happened to be coming through Baltimore last night, so Remy had gone out drinking with him. He had to tell him all about his weirdly tall doppelganger, after all! And, well. Remy had a bad habit of trying to keep up with the Wolverine when they went out drinking, and for once they hadn't been interrupted by ninjas or assassins or ninja assassins, so Remy had ended up housed.

Yeah, he wasn't sure why he'd tried to come to work today in this condition, either.

He had his head down on the sales desk, a damp washcloth over his eyes, and was hoping for a nice, slow day. And, well, uhhhhh . . . have a sale on antique boozy stuff. Sure.

She stood and stared at him.

He stood and looked impressed with himself.

Kitty shook her head and set to work until she saw the specials board.

The Perk, Tuesday Afternoon

Don had spent most of yesterday stuck on the phone as what had started as a quick check on the status of his case had turned into being given the runaround by the professional licensing arm of the New York State Education Department for quite some time (long enough he'd had to apologetically text Jane that he couldn't make class) before he had finally managed to piece together what they were trying not to admit: that someone had "lost" all of his paperwork a few months ago under the assumption that there was no need to process it as Tony Stark was about to drag him off to super jail.

The person he had been speaking to at that point, who he thought might have been the head of the entire medical licensing division, had been very apologetic, but the fact remained that they couldn't reinstate his license if they didn't have any of his paperwork. So he had spent most of this morning on the phone with Roberta at the Manhattan DMV (he hadn't known she could swear), a very helpful guy at NYU's med school's records office, and, again, the New York State Education Department. In theory, his license was actually being processed this time. They had even promised him rush processing. He'd believe it when he saw it.

He didn't just need this coffee, or the pumpkin muffin he'd ordered with it. He deserved them. And no, Thor, he had not ordered the apple coffee.

...the apple chai did sound kind of good, though.
