Infinite Consortium, Monday
Monday, December 23rd, 2024 02:08 amIt was the day before Christmas Eve and Liliana had gotten to use the umbrella she had modified last year to catch all of the chocolate coins that were falling. Clearly, it was an excellent day to be Liliana (as most days were, honestly. But some days it was great with chocolate.)
Rather than allowing anything as unpleasant as work sully her excellent day, Liliana had brought a book along to work with her - a very frivolous and tawdry novel, perfect for the last day of work for the year - and was snuggled up in one of the many thick, warm blankets she'd had brought to the store to keep her warm now that the weather was getting chillier still. A cup of tea and piles of gelt to nibble on made this an almost perfect shift.
