[identity profile] groovy-cat.livejournal.com
The Cat is slinking around the park, possibly trying to catch a duck or bird or possibly just wanting to get away Holly who's who's been going on his new musical scale all day (again)

((he doesn't get out much bless him, so if you want to speak to him do so now))
[identity profile] jquayle.livejournal.com
Justin is up early this morning, he doesn't know why but he just had the feeling of waking up before dawn to survey his garden and water those that must be watered. He grabbed his cup of tea and slipped on a sweater before setting out into Town to maybe do a little Christmas shopping himself.

[[OOC: He's open for anyone. No, really, anyone.]]
[identity profile] immortalamanda.livejournal.com
Amanda is in her office strategizing about how to get some more business for the museum. She's pretty awake this morning, and drinking a coffee. She's had a nice break and is now ready to get down to business. She makes a list

1. Hire some more employees
2. Advertise more
3. Talk to Duncan and/or Methos about advertising at the school.
[identity profile] maias-notebook.livejournal.com
Maia walked along the trail in the fog, she enjoyed watching the squirrels running along in front of her. It was quiet, Maia was not ready to give up her vacation. She was lost in thoughts of the Christmas holidays that were coming up fast.

Michael is slow to move as he opens the store. It had been a long weekend, and not in the normally good sense of the phrase. Although his kid was engaged now, and that gave him a smile now and then.
[identity profile] http://users.livejournal.com/_red_xiii_/
Red was late getting back into town with the cubs. The holiday traffic was far worse than he had anticipated and they had to take the long way around to prevent from getting caught up in it when crossing major highways. But he still had made it back into town. The cubs were a little more frisky than normal but this had been their first major excursion into the wilds and they had a grand time.

After his chat with Justin Quayle and bringing him back to the shop for coffee, Red shuffled the cubs upstairs who promptly fell asleep among the piles of pillow, and he readied the shop to open.

((ooc: Work after the holidays - will be slow in responses until afternoon. Sorry for any delay.))

Allison flips the sign to open and then pours three bowls of cereal and fills them with milk for her daughters who've arrived during the night. Allison is not happy right now.

Bridgette and Ariel are fighting over who gets the flowered spoon.

"Girls, please." Allison says. "A spoon is a spoon and mommy might have visitors today."

Buffy opens up the shop and makes sure things are in place. She moves behind the counter and starts tallying up the books.

There are a lot of things on her mind, including the fact that she suddenly has no roommate. She doesn't know if she wants to try to find a new roommate or if she just wants to keep the single.

She finishes the books and returns them to their place. After that she waters the plants and flowers and then goes to sit behind the counter and work on her homework.
[identity profile] sheriffbuck.livejournal.com
Standing on the outskirts, Lucas Buck put his hands on his hips and listened. Not just to the sounds of the town as it slowly roused to life with the beginning of the day, but really listened. Beneath the obvious pulse of the town, there was a heart beat, slow…steady and just perceptible. He smiled.

He had several orders of business to attend to, the least of which was finding a place to stay. Then to the mayor’s office to settle into his new role as the sheriff. Finally, he would need to stop by the station and get acquainted with the fine officers that have tried desperately to maintain the peace under…dubious…leadership.

There was a hotel in town if he remembered reading the Chamber of Commerce brochure right and struck off in a direction, trusting that he would eventually find his way there. Fandom Town wasn’t very big at all. Normally, hiding a hotel of the size of the Aficionado Arms should be rather difficult. His intelligence on Fandom Town would tell a different story….

[A post outlining who and what Sheriff Buck is, what he will be doing, etc...is coming soon.]
[identity profile] pubkeeper.livejournal.com
Spike opens the pub for business early today. He quickly puts a "Help Wanted" sign on the outside of the door, before yanking his arm back into the dark pub.
[identity profile] a-phale.livejournal.com
After a visit with James at the clinic and a quick trip by the florist, Aziraphale places his gift for Crowley on the counter and readies the shop to be opened. He's feeling a great deal better today, and is even humming a little under his breath. The tea and muffins are set out, the shop sign is turned to 'Open', and Aziraphale is looking forward to seeing who'll be stopping by today.

((ETA: Due to some strange timeline plottiness, Aziraphale is no longer available to talk to anyone in any of the threads currently set up. He is, however back from his errand in the main post, so if you need to talk to him, post a new comment there rather than in the threads. *rolls eyes at chronofluidity*))
[identity profile] jarodpretends.livejournal.com
After running into Parker on Wednesday, followed by a weekend outside camping, Jarod was more than ready to get back to work.

He couldn't wait to see what tonight brought.

The shoppe is open.

Tonks is sitting on the broad counter, in her familiar cross-legged position. A notebook is balanced on one knee, a small jar of Ever-Changing Ink a few inches away. She's biting on the end of a spotted quill, looking like she's considering what to write next. The pages were covered with her untidy scrawl. If one could make sense of her jagged, slanted writing, he or she would find ideas for a sitcom, based off things she had observed thus far in Fandom.
[identity profile] http://users.livejournal.com/_flybynight/
Jack looks suspiciously happy after a productive Thanksgiving weekend. He kicks back with a cup of coffee and begins avidly watching the curling trials on TSN.

Fly By Night is open for business as usual.
[identity profile] freelancerchick.livejournal.com
When Blood Gulch Arms opens there is no sign of the sparkly lightish red sign on the door. It's probably best not to mention it either as Tex doesn't seem to be in the best of moods. She's working behind the counter, going through her books. Every few minutes, Tex scratches the bandage at the back of her neck and scowls down at the paperwork. She'd never had to deal with this sort of thing before and she's very tempted to just use her gunblade on it.

((Shop lay out and supplies can be found here.))
[identity profile] mikeys-ben.livejournal.com
In spite of the chill, Ben decided to take a walk. There was too much going on in his head, especially after the weekend, and he wanted to work some of it out.

((ooc: open to interaction, or feel free to use the post for your own park wanderings.))
[identity profile] prof-cregg.livejournal.com
[She stops in to grab a lattee and catch up on her non-verbal unit reading. So much new research to sift through. She sits, cup on one side, papers before her, highlighter at the ready.]

((Cj is seeing Kadaj, but feel free to use this post for your Perk patronage.))
[identity profile] soniabelmont.livejournal.com
Still jet-lagged and feeling especially restless, Sonia heads out of the dorms into the chilly night air, making her way through the streets at an easy jog.

[OOC: Open to interaction. Player is avoiding homework bored.]
