[On the edge of the npc district is a diner CJ's never gone to before. After movies with Ten and Adam, she was restless. SHe walks through the snow, looking at how the town is putting on its holiday face, and then ducks in for coffee and cherry pie. She pulls out the collected works of Pablo Neruda, and reads.]

The Rare Books Shop Saturday

The angel had gone to New Jersey with the good doctor for the day. Crowley sighed, New Jersey. As if he's ever done anything bad enough to deserve that. He busied himself preparing the Shop for customers. He'd made a promise, and it would be a cold day back home before he let the angel down. He even left the decorations just where they'd been placed. He set out the tea service and busied himself with baking. Really baking. Why this surprises the humans, he'd never understand. He enjoyed baking.

Michael flipped the sign to "open" and started tidying the shop and rearranging the displays, trying to keep himself busy today so he wouldn't think about Ben being away.

mid-afternoon: Sanctity

Having been unable to meditate properly, Zhaan moved restlessly around the whop, rearranging sections of herbs and oils. Putting the bath oils under the tea that went best with that activity, and dragging the stool over to the window so she could string up tiny white christmas lights.

If nothing else, she'll be determinedly seasonal. Not that her music choice was currently helping.

Spike's Pub is Open 12/10

The mood that evening for the pub was suppressed. Yazoo returned from his trip into town in a foul mood and it clung around all three like a heavy cloak. Still, they had a job to do and so they opened the pub. Kadaj decided Yazoo was in no state of mind to tend bar so he was relegated to the watch position along with Loz, picking up restocking as was needed.

Everything in place, the sign flickered to OPEN and customers were greeted to the loving strains of System Of A Down for the evening.

Duck pond in the park, early afternoon

O'Malley had waited all morning for word back from Yazoo. When it didn't come, he got restless. Allison wasn't cooperating, the little of her that was left was drawing further back, refusing to give him access to the supply room. He wasn't worried, she'd wear down eventually. It was a matter of not getting bored while he waited and if he could annoy her in the meantime, then all the better.

O'Malley was sure this would do the trick just fine. He headed down into the park, still carrying the ammoless assault rifle, and approached the duck pond. The bratty duck with teeth and its friends were there. O'Malley laughed. Yes, this would do just fine.
