While the night was dark, shortly before dawn, Drusilla removed her possessions and what items Spike had left from the basement of the pub and moved them into Efferton Manor.

She didn't bother to leave the key on the table for the brothers.

OOC: Dru is moving into Efferton with permission of Wednesday Addams' former player. Unless Wednesday comes back, please see me should you need anything regarding Efferton Manor.

Feeling a little better this morning, Michael opens the store and sits behind his computer to work on the store directory and map. In the window is the sign he printed out this morning:

Cricket bat special: $15
Buy one, get the second for just $10!
One week only!
Be prepared for whatever might come your way!

Red spread out his papers on his counter to work while the shop was open. With the cubs playing energetically in the main shop, the music low in the background, just enough to provide soothing background noise.

An afternoon appointment from the mainland was all he had planned so he would work on townie business in the meantime.

((ooc: SP until later afternoon))

The shop is open for a change. Anyone coming inside will notice two things: first, there's now a fishtank in the lounge, with five happy-looking fish swimming in it.

Second, the proprietor himself seems to be in a particularly good mood.

She stopped in for a latte and sat down to wait for Jack. His message was weird...like he had to tell her something he didn't really want to. What in the world happened at that naked slumber party?

Tonks was busy spelling candy. Anyone who came in would likely notice a shower of dark blue sparks, and the fact that the pink-haired witch seemed to be in an exceptionally good mood.

Lorne opens up the doors for Caritas and takes his position behind the bar.

The Zombie Band is in rare form tonight... especially since the drummer got a new head.

Isabel sat on the beach listening to the pounding of the waves. She'd seen the ocean before, usually on family vacations to Southern California. But there was something different about this ocean, grey and cold under the cloudy sky that held her attention as she thought about the last few days.

The first day of classes had gone well. She still couldn't quite believe that her Western Literature professor was Geoffrey Chaucer. She tried trying to imagine how he got here but finally chalked it up to just another unusual thing in Fandom.

Overall things were going well. Having a guy for a roommate wasn't quite as bad as she first feared, Xander was sweet and funny and reminded her of Alex in a way. But of course thinking of Alex reminded her of home.

Max still hadn't called her back despite the message she'd left. She couldn't believe he could be that stubborn. For a moment she wondered if perhaps her voicemail had been misdirected but she doubted it. All the messages she'd received had been from folks in Fandom, so it probably had only affected the local phone system.

Mentally she shrugged, she'd call him back at some point. Maybe by then she'd have something useful to tell him.

[occ: Locked to [livejournal.com profile] notstakedyet. No problem with saying she was here, but the conversation itself is NFB.]
