Michael trudged down the stairs and open the shop. Too many late nights, not enough sleep. As much as he loved his son, he'd be glad when the kids headed back to Pittsburgh.

Mayor's Office hours

Red settled in behind his desk at the townhall office. He needed to get somethings finished, including Pippi's application for a bonfire on the beach, so he pushed his door until it was ajar but not completely closed. Hopefully people will knock before coming in but he didn't want to just shut it completely.

He liked to hear the activity of the offices around him. And the soft jingle of the jingle balls being thrown about by some of the staff to keep the cubs entertained. He wondered if any work would get done with Castor and Pollux around...

Spike's is Not Open-but it's open

Yazoo was restless. This in turn, made his brothers crazy. They felt bad about leaving him alone while they went into the town. Packing him on Loz's bike, all three went to the pub to discuss what they would do with the place.

Just as he predicted, Loz went through the roof about owning the pub - his argument was they couldn't handle the pub and the repair work they had piling up. They all knew better but he was going to bitch so Kadaj and Yazoo let him.

Yazoo was thrilled they had the pub now as he'd always liked working the bar. He walked around slowly, his fingers brushing over every bit of furniture in the place with a grin on his face. They all knew the new would wear off eventually and Yazoo would grow bored with it but for the moment, it was shiny to him.

And Kadaj. Kadaj was ambivalent. It was a good way for them to get cash they needed without anything illegal (not that it would stop them), so tired of living hand to mouth and scraping by while they worked on CJ's car.

It also tied them down, something that didn't sit well with them.

But...he had Spike's permission to burn the place down when they moved on so that was something. It would provide finality, something that wouldn't keep them tied so Kadaj could get behind it.

Deciding on keeping one of the pool tables, (hoping to sell the other to the new place in town), the TV and the dart boards, they debated on keeping the kitchen.

Kadaj made a quick call and rejoined his brothers in the discussions on what to do with the pub.

Fast Eddie's is Open

Eddie's not too happy with the turnout he had for his first day, but it was a first day, so he figures he can't judge business off that. The neon sign in the window is lit, and Fast Eddie's is open for business.

Rare Books Shop, Tuesday

Yes, for the second day in a row, the bookshop is open. There's still tea (you'll know there's something wrong the day there's not), the fish are keeping watch over the lounge, and the fire is burning in the fireplace. Wonka Sweets Shoppe - OPEN

Wonka makes sure the sales banner is still hanging there, then goes to put out small bowls of experimental hard candy and bubblegum. He's not sure if roastbeaf is the way to go, but he's quite pleased with the pineapple-and-canary bird candy.

Blood Gulch Arms

There's movement inside the shop as Tex is checking up on the job the team of cleaners did yesterday. All evidence of a fowl presence seem to have been gone and there's a new window installed in her apartment too. She'll need to get some new furniture. Hopefully she'll get to open the shop soon, if Zhaan lets her. The blue woman has been very fussy.

Beach - Serenity Cove - Freshman Bonfire After Dark

There's a comfy bonfire set up out of drift wood about halfway between where the path down to the beach lets out and the water. A pile of driftwood is nearby ready to keep the fire going so everybody can stay warm. There's a table with an awe inspiring variety of homemade Pizzas here as well as any number of Wonka's Candies and soda.

Jarod sat behind the desk, box of tissues at his elbow and trash can at his feet. He was on the internet again, researching herbal cures for the death plague the common cold.
