Agatha woke up and celebrated not being pink by having a cup of tea. It was that sort of day. The pills that Dr. Lambert had given her were working and she was no longer sneezing. As long as she was not sneezing, she was not pink.

Flipping the store sign to 'Open', she continued working on Pippi's project. She hadn't heard from Walter about what sort of metal his tutor was using in his restaurant, so she went with brass, on the theory that the subsequent model could be done in another material.

[ooc: come in, store is open, Agatha is working]

Spike's had been collecting dust for a while. In fact, too long had the quiet drinking establishment been... quiet. Quark had finally gotten the paperwork back for acquiring the building, and today he set about making sure the place could run all by its lonesome. The secondary replicator was set up behind the bar, just in case of very peculiar requests.

To make sure he didn't have to pay a real bartender, a holo-emitter is installed as well. He still had the small one to project a copy of Morn, and with a few improvements he'd do just fine as a quiet barkeep, available all the time. Pity he can't talk and tell people what their tabs are... but that's what receipts are for.

Fully assured that almost nothing could possibly go wrong, Quark turns on the "Open" sign in the window, and heads out.

[ooc: Yes, Quark's is our shiny new, totally modable, totally NPC-able, totally openable by anyone anytime drinking establishment. Holo-Morn won't card, Holo-Morn is able to make you anything food-or-drink wise that's smaller than a breadbox, Holo-Morn isn't able to talk. My only condition is that if you plan on roughing the place up, give me a heads-up so I know when Quark has to close the place up a day for repairs or somesuch. Otherwise... enjoy your drinks in the peace of no Karaoke, huzzah.]

Edmund has succeeded in teaching his robopet to bark at people who enter the store. He's seriously considering a trip to see Miss Clay about getting some sharper teeth put in...

He isn't wondering when the robopet made the shift from "pointless oddity" to "mine."

He is eagerly awaiting the special orders that should be arriving today. Not only for island residents, but another shipment from Wow Wee toys. Roboraptors look amusing.

All and Sundries is open.

At Wadsworth's suggestion, there is a sign outside advertising their "red" herring special.

Cafe Fina is open for bussiness.

Alfred and Wadsworth are here to serve you.

Giles is at the front counter, still working on the research for Cordelia. The UPS man came and brought him a small yet interesting parcel from London.

He figured out how to tune in the student radio station last week. As a result, sitting next to his books on the counter is a display card which reads:

"air-EE-oh-pa-jit-I-ca"

After spending about a week in some undefined place (On his boat? In a cave? Trapped under some boxes in a warehouse? With his family for some Godforsaken reason? We may never know...), GOB wanted only two things more than a good drink at Caritas.

When he arrived, he noticed that Jarod hadn't opened the place up, so he made a nuisance of himself until Tino was forced to let him in. Not trusting Tino with his precious, precious booze, GOB hopped behind the counter to get his own Scotch.

The fact that he didn't lock the door behind him when he entered meant that he forgot to and will regret his mistake Caritas was open for business tonight.

[OOC: GOB doesn't trust Tino, but I do. I'll probably be AFK for an hour or two, but Tino can serve you until I'm back.

Um. In the right place now.]

Tex is in her office. Even the dart board wasn't enough to get her to go in today so Appo had to set her up with F.E.A.R.

The shoppe, for the record, was open. It wasn't that Tonks was brooding. She was just thinking. And this thought wasn't at all brought on by the departure of someone. Not at all.

Paige didn't want to go back to Chaucer's just yet, cos he was bound to hear her crying and that was the last thing she wanted. She wanted him to be as happy as possible for the few remaining days that he was here. But the thought that she'd never see him again pretty much tore her apart.

He was the first man she'd ever loved, and she still did, even though she loved Sawyer, there was just something about Geoff, something she thought she might never quite get over.
