Marty opens up the doors to Empire Records for what he hopes is an interesting day.

Of course his day would probably be a lot better if he hadn't accidently put in a Paul Anka CD into the store's stereo system.

It would be even nicer if he hadn't broken the eject button.

[OOC: Except for the morning, expect slowplay]

Logan wandered out to the Perk with his books and his iPod. Theoretically, he was there to study. But there may have been a lot of staring out the window at the snow and listening to the iPod.

[Here for all your Logan-touching and Perk needs. Feel free to mod bumping into Logan at the counter or brushing against him at a table. Slowplay due to work.]

Having rather not finished her welding the previous night, Agatha was finishing it up now. Her goal was to finish Pippi's order today so she could test it tomorrow morning before Pippi came to pick it up. She was also working on a certain project for Victor. During her breaks she was reading Robopet's manual which was rather confusing and talked of strange batteries that were nothing like what she was used to.

She is in a peculiar sort of mood. Orlin was back, and things were spiff. But 'I need to go home to feed the kitten' is a bit of alame excuse to not stay the night. So, peculiar mood.

[store's open]

With his robopet in Agatha's hands, Edmund is playing with a roboraptor, which is amusing, but not as good as the dog, in his opinion. There are other dogs in boxes, but they aren't as good as his dog, either.

Edmund may just have gone on crack cracked. Or he's just been really, really bored.

All and Sundries is open.

Kiki sits inside, waiting for Geoff Professor Chaucer. OMG it's not a date!

[Perk needs? Go nutty.]

After getting back from checking the Baron's mail, Alfred opened up the restaurant, mentioning to Wadsworth that Walter would not be on call today.

Butler Fetish is still playing over the speakers.

[[Wait for the OCD. Threads up! Also, as per most Tuesdays, I will disapear around 5:30CST and not really be back until 9:00-ish. Feel free to mod Wadsworth.]]

There are better ways to return, and Aeryn knows it even as she sets the Prowler down on the beach. The landing's a little rough, but it's not enough to damage anything and really, she's lucky she didn't crash entirely. She'll blame bad lighting.

She shuts everything down, taking a minute to breathe, to check to make sure the bleeding's still stopped, and unstraps herself from her crash restraints. The canopy opens and it's the first fresh air Aeryn's breathed in days. Normally she doesn't miss it. Right now it's a relief.

It hurts to turn around and grab her bag from the back, but she's not going to leave it here. It hurts more to drop it out the side of the ship and climb out after it, anyway. She sticks it out to pick up the bag again and heft it over her shoulder. She doesn't want to leave the Prowler here unguarded, but she doesn't really have a choice at the moment. It'll be fine until morning.

She's had enough time to figure out where she should go, and sets off for her destination.

Veronica came in early since her self defense lesson with Pip was cancelled.

She spent two hours scrubbing the bar, washing the glasses by hand, and vacuuming the furniture.

Yes, she was doing the ritualistic cleaning thing in an effort to clear her head.

No, it wasn't really helping.

[ooc: no host tonight as far as I know. I will be afk until about maybe 8 EST and may be limited in my interaction tonight as I'm not feeling 100%. Tino is, as always, moddable for your drink needs. If you *really* want to interact with Veronica, tag me on AIM or ping me in the OOC comment.]

Coffee. Laptop. Essays.

Staring out the window, she ignored it all. This whole alone thing wasn't something she was so good at.

[[come chat with CJ...I swear she's not emo.]]

The day has been... not exactly lovely, but not exactly awful, either. Having spent the morning sitting in her garden, letting the ambient light bake into her skin while she meditated.

So, really, the day was better than it could have been.

Opening the shop, she paused to look at the street, then turned back and began dusting the shelves with a vengeance. While Gabriel cowered underneath the desk.

Jarod was sitting at the desk, watching Dr. Phil on the portable television. He was more confused about relationships than ever.
