Aereopagitica: Wednesday [6-28]

Lana opened the store a little early today. Piper had handwavily asked if some people could come in while she was there and do some research into this whole ghost thing and she was more than happy to help.

Whitney had spent the night whispering into her ear about how wonderful it would be if they were together again so she hadn't gotten much sleep and was feeling a bit desperate.

Seras arrived at the store and went through the motions of setting up shop. Her mind, however, wasn't really on her work. Since her conversation with Isabel, Seras had made it a point to listen to the radio broad casts, and last night's had mentioned ghosts.

And, they didn't seem to be of the friendly variety, either. That nice Mr. Archie had seemed quite shaken up. Seras wondered if any of her friends had been affected. Pippi and Pip had seemed normal at the gym. She hadn't really spoken to Nadia or to Walter at Caritas, but they'd seemed happy enough. She hadn't seen Al in a few days or Peter or...

Seras set about Windexing the display cases, completely lost in thought.

All and Sundries is open.

Cafe Fina, Wednesday

Wadsworth opened the restaurant as usual. However, today was inventory day and that delightful job would be left to Walter.

Thus, Cafe Fina would be cheerfully liar staffed by Wadsworth for the entire day.

Galactiga Pointe - Wednesday Evening

Pippi sat on a rock waiting for her friends with the crystal ball wrapped in it's dark silk cloth in her lap.

This was the same rock she sat on with Greg before he left and it put her in a very thoughtful mood.

This visit was certainly not a happy one either, but hopefully have happy results in the long term.

To cheer herself up as she waited, she sang.

Wonka's Sweets Shoppe - Wednesday - OPEN

Luna hadn't brought much of anything with her today, aside from her usual odds and ends and wand behind her ear as ever.

To her delight, she found something unusual in a small box, tucked just under the second shelf of the third display case on the left-hand side.

She opened the box and set a pair of small, candy pigs upon the counter. She murmured a few words, gave a flick or two of her wand and they began to move, walking back and forth over the counter, nosing into one another, that sort of thing. Might as well have some amusement company while she worked.

Then she unlocked the door and set to.

Caritas, Wednesday Night

Jarod took extra time cleaning and restocking the bar before he opened, since the radio had reported that Caritas had been extremely busy the night before, and he wasn't sure Veronica had had time to get to everything.

As for the zombie band, well, the guitarist and the drummer were throwing brains at each other over the tempo of one of their original songs. The bass player appealed to Jarod to mediate, but it all sounded like grunting to him.

They laughed and pointed at him as he opened the doors. Just for that, Jarod decided they could clean up their own brains.
