All and Sundries, 7/6

There is a picnic umbrella set up outside All and Sundries today. Edmund is lounging in a chaise under the umbrella and working on recreating Edmund: A Butler's Tale from memory.

"And then the gypsy girl, lush bosom heaving, threw herself into Edmund's strongly-muscled, manly arms, crying, 'Take me, you beautiful hunk of butler! Take me!'"

He quickly writes that down and shakes his head admiringly. "I am a genius."

All and Sundries is open.

Wine, Wenches 'n Song [4-6pm]

"This be Barbossa, 'n ye be listenin' t' Wine, Wenches 'n Song jes' like ye did last week," the pirate began, spinning around in his chair. "Because I be certainly not gettin' drunk 'n forgettin' t' show up. That be irresponsible or somethin'."

He coughed. "Anyway. This be the show where ye can ask me fer advice about wenches or mateys or ask fer me t' play a request. Jes' nothin' from 98 Degrees, okay? Even a pirate can have standards."

He grinned. "But first, a song from the pirate: this one be goin' out t' Bucky Starbucks Gilmore-Danes--Lorelai 'n Luke's newest buccaneer."

Barbossa pressed a button on his console and The Beatles "Birthday Song" blared out.

"The lines be open," he concluded. "Bother me."

Jeff, GOB's, lunchtime Thursday

A few minutes early, Tyler ordered some coffee and sat sipping it at a table. If it felt strange to him that he was having lunch with a girl who had so recently been afraid of him, his face didn't show it.

His fidgety hands, however, might tell a different story.

The Perk, late afternoon

Susan was carefully, with great attention, drinking a very large mug of chai tea. It helped keep her mind off other things.

The slow destruction of the muffin in front of her indicated it probably wasn't helping much.

After the newsletter meeting, Veronica hurried to Caritas and started preparing for the night.

Luckily none of the band members needed appendages re-attached.

Luke's Diner, Thursday

Cafe Fina, Thursday

Alfred opened up Cafe Fina on Thursday, as he normally did, his mind a little troubled. Not with Walter, per se, but with his friends. And especially with Nadia.

He didn't like telling them lies. Well, technically he was always telling lies, considering. But that was one lie.

The lie he told Nadia was quite another.

Alfred never bought into the "omission of truth is not a lie" idea.
