Seras glanced at the clock and realised that it was high time to close up shop. She sighed and set about giving the display cases their final Windex of the day. Her head throbbed slightly. Today had started out well enough, but it had quickly spiralled into a vortex of weirdness.

Part of her hoped that Walter was alright now. Another part of her hoped that he'd gotten slapped a few more times and maybe pushed into the duck pond.

She was about to make sure that Baldrick hadn't left any turnips lying around for Mr. Blackadder to trip over when she heard a hollow *thunk* sound echo in one of the aisles. She raised her head, and eyes narrowed, began to walk in the general direction of said *thunk*.

NEVER go *towards* the thunk )

[OOC:I'm going to be afk for all of Sunday and most of Monday, so I decided to send Seras on a little adventure. She'll return to Fandom on Monday evening. Post is merely to establish that she's vanished, but Baldrick or Mr. Blackadder are more than welcome to show up and check to make sure the turnips are okay or complain about the mess.]

Fred hit the alarm clock as it tried to rouse him and buried his head in the pillow. It had been a long night. It had been a long weekend. Ever since Pippi and Molly had come to visit him on Friday. But it was done--he had managed to train it. Fred heard a quiet slinking somewhere around his left ear and turned his head. The slinky had crawled onto the bed and was softly nudging his shoulder! He sighed and resigned himself to getting up. He sat up in bed and petted the slinky.

"It's a big day for you, isn't it?" he said to the slinky, more rhetorically than not, but the slinky wagged happily.

"Well, come on then, let's get in some last minute practice, just so you're ready." Fred threw on his work robes and headed downstairs, the slinky slinking along behind him.

Her hangover now mostly cleared up, Rosette was looking forward to exploring the town a little bit. She particularly wanted to see what sorts of restaurants could be found. Her missionary pay was pretty impressive, and she was looking forward to mercilessly squandering it. But Chrono would have none of it.

"You can't go out on a Sunday! It's the most important day! You should stay here; I know it's been boring around here, but it's Sunday."

Rosette scoffed. "Psh. Chrono, this church caters to all faiths, and some faiths don't even consider Sunday their holiest day. Sometimes it's Saturday...and there's probably a Wednesday one in there, too."

"But yours is Sunday."

So, begrudgingly, she stayed, and polished candlesticks. She wasn't going anywhere near the baptismal fount; it had been jerry-rigged enough that it was contained, if still broken.

Alec opened the door of the Perk and walked inside - slowly, because he had Jaye clinging to his back in the least vomit-inducing position they'd been able to find for him to carry her in. Jaye was hungover. Alec not so much.

He got her to a booth and ordered hot black coffee for the both of them, as well as water and a muffin for Jaye, then went to sit down. "Feel any better yet?"

[OOC: Open for all your Perky needs!]

GOB was in a good mood. So good, in fact that he posted a message behind the bar.

EMPLOYEES ARE TO SING TO CUSTOMERS
IF GIVEN A TIP OF $1.00 OR MORE

He had heard about this with other businesses. Since he was in such a good mood, he figured it could be fun here, too.

Sure it would.

[OOC: Open and good for interaction yay. Heading AFK. Mod Tino as necessary. He won't sing, though.]
