Aeryn lets John lead the way into the restaurant, still a little unsure of what to do in restaurants, since they as a whole couldn't decide whether or not they wanted you to seat yourself or order at a counter. You'd think they would standardize that sort of thing.

Angela ordered hummus and tomato on a bagel and a peanut butter cookie, then took a seat near a window. Smiling to herself, she flipped through a college guide while she waited.

Sawyer is nursing a hot cup of coffee, it's a tastey cup of coffee as well. In the other hand he has a book which he's barely even started reading but he likes it anyways, it's better than the one about bunnies. He grumbles something and then turns the page.

Jude usually looked lethargic. Now he just looked wiped.

At least he was secure in the knowledge that there were no possible incriminating photos of him last night.

Cafe Fina, Wednesday

Walter opened the restaurant after Alfred's workshop and promptly disappeared into the back to hear horror stories from the kitchen staff about Nadia and great bodily harm.

It might be wise for her not to eat there again in the near future.

Wadsworth, unlike most of the rest of the staff, was in an absolutely delightful mood, which was good, because he was minding the restaurant for the day while Walter did damage control and tried to explain to Jorge that yes, she was his girlfriend, yes, she was occasionally homicidal, and no, that didn't mean that they need to make Walter's life harder as punishment.

Tim heard the rocks slide as his feet slid out from under him. Fortunately all he hurt was his pride and his tailbone, and it didn't feel like that was too bad actually.

Ahead of him, he heard something else moving amongst the rocks of the beach, just out of sight.

The Beach, Wed Afternoon and early evening

Clark, wearing sunglasses, hawaian shirt, swimsuit, and his fedora, unfolded the beach chair and sat down, closing his eyes for a moment, listening to the waves.

Saigo found a comfortable spot in the shade of the chair to sit and watch the sea. He wondered what lay under the surface. Were the stories of Merducks true?

The Park, Wednesday early evening

Walter stayed late at Cafe Fina to get everything back in order after Nadia's day of waitressing. At the very least, she should have a greater appreciation for what he did there.

He wasn't in the mood to go be cooped up in the dorms, so settled down on the park bench nearest the duck pond and the lobster sculpture and started taunting the ducks by throwing pieces of stale bread toward them and then snatching the pieces out of the air with his wires. It was good practice, if no doubt quite annoying to the ducks.
