Apu is going to show Jane why it was a good idea to hire him. (Besides the fact that he was the first and only person to date who wanted the job.)

He has greatly enhanced the Halloween decorations around the store greatly. It's a veritable sea of orange black and green.

He also has a huge bowl of candy for the trick-or-treaters.

But you only get candy if you're wearing a costume.

All and Sundries is open.

One would think that a copying machine would not be able to open up a store, let alone hand out candy or buttons with silly expressions on them.

Then again this is Fandom so regardless of reality's constraints, Empire Records is open.

Jane is totally decked out in her "Doris Day costume". (Which, amusingly enough, is quite a lot like what she wears normally except a little tighter.)

There is a humongous bowl of little tiny bottles of booze out for the trick or treaters.

The Zombies insist that they are dressed as the members of the band "Phish".

Jane doesn't get it but she's pretty sure that Phish is not the answer.

[ooc: Up way damn early for trick or treating fun!]

"Happy Halloween everyone! Don't forget, tonight is the night to go begging random strangers for candy. Like you all need more sugar. And if you don't have a costume yet, call in. I have plenty of creative and innovative ideas.

And no, I'm not wearing a tutu. Or any other kind of costume for that matter. So you can go ahead and delete all photos of me in said tutu now."

Cafe Fina, Tuesday

Alfred and Wadsworth had cracked the whip over the staff all day Monday, and finally the restraunt was ready for Halloween.

The advantage of working for the richest man on earth?

You have special effects that the gods would envy.

Cafe Fina was open. And spooky.

Today was Halloween and Fandom Town wanted to contribute to the Holiday. Someone at Town Hall had apparently overdone himself and spread flyers around town with the Trick or Treat route on it. He did have to put them safely on window sills or benches to avoid the small growling vampire pumpkins from trying to roll over them.

After sunset, the route would be lit by torches and if you ran into a troopers, chances were they had swapped their helmet for a scary mask. They were staying clear of the Sheriff just in case, though.

((ZOMG, gimme time for the OCD. OCD is up. Wait to comment in threads until the owners have tagged into it. If anyone would prefer to make their own Trick or Treat post and just tag in here with a link for people to follow, that is perfectly fine as well.

Have fun and please let me know if I forgot something or if you have questions.

ETA: Now there's even a thread to gather at the school gates. *facepalms*))

Jarod, had done a little bit of research into Halloween and had spent the day preparing for the holiday. He set out a very large bowl of chocolate, as well as little bottles of massage oil, feathers and little containers of body paint. Anything else that was offered to trick or treaters was strictly a business deal between the trick or treater and the offerer.

[ooc: Last two links are NWS!]

There's a table with Halloween specials, including Dracula and Frankenstein, as well as The Giaour and The Vampyre.

Giles, on his own part, is sitting behind the counter reading the scariest book he knows: The Turn of the Screw.
