The ballroom was set up as per usual with an omlette bar, coffee and various juices and milk, cereal, bagels and toast, all the traditional breakfast foods. Even, some British ones.

Come, eat, drink and be merry. For tomorrow, we can eat, drink and be merry again.

Sam tapped his feet anxiously as he waited for his dad to come and meet him like he'd handwavily requested. He still didn't want to have this conversation, no matter how much Dean promised him that everything would be fine. But the fact that his dad was less likely to blow up at him in public balanced that out, at least a little.

Feeling badly for missing the last two Sundays here at work, the twins made sure they came to open shop-not that anyone ever really came by anyway.

Today, however, was a day to rock out to some MSI. Between bouts of homework, they blasted the music through the shop, bouncing off the counters and some shelves.

You can't stop the signal once it's been sent, and that had been exactly what they had done.

The Acorn had descended through the atmosphere rather shakily, but it had proven itself sturdier than expected of a squirrel-built spaceship. It was probably a good thing that Sam had been the pilot rather than River, and especially the Park groundsmen would have been happy about that had they known that the spaceship landing not for from the clinic could have caused a lot more damage to the surroundings with someone less experienced piloting it.
