Café Fina, Tuesday

It had taken all of Monday, but the staff had managed to get Café Fina rather clean after the mayhem of the weekend.
And now that he had time to think back on the whole thing, Lumiere had decided that it had been a pretty pleasant weekend, all in all.
It wasn't as though they had learned how to burn water to replace the gasoline car, or the president went through the White House door and did what he said he'd do, but in light of the weekend, Lumiere decided it was time to break out a special recipe, and throw in a little something extra along with it.

The specials board today reads:

Today, the staff is singing something in the tune of an old country song, and feeling no shame whatsoever about it.

Tuesday:
The Feast of a bunch of relatively unimportant saints.
Boo.

Boots propped up on the pew in front of her as she slumped comfortably, the nun was deep in thought, tapping a pen against her chin as she stared at a few scribblings on a yellow legal pad in front of her. Yes, she was thinking. Apparantly pretty hard, too, because was was unaware that she was tapping her chin with the writing side, therefore getting a few specks of ink along her jaw. The title of her project? "Operation: Dispell Cupcake Awkwardness."

Chrono's suggestions of just cutting her loses and not hanging out with them anymore were not helping. Rosette just figured he was being bitter because he hadn't gotten any cupcakes. But she bet the ones she threw on the ceiling were still there, if he wanted to go find out.

The barista handed over the order, and was starting to worry just a little bit. After all, even Jake didn't usually finish six mugs of coffee in 45 minutes.

Jake ignored the look and went back to his seat. He sprawled down and went back to reading, nervously tapping his fingers on the table.
