The snakes had cleared out of the church, leaving no sign that they were ever really even there to begin with, which, admittedly, kind of creeped Rosette out. She had extra lights in the confessional today, so she could keep her eye on the corners for any that might have still been lurking, waiting to bite her ankle or something while she cleaned her guns. Biting her ankle while she had guns on hand wasn't a very smart idea, but she didn't know exactly how smart a snake could be.

She was glad it was Monday. She had....a lot to think about today...

Chrono, on the other hand, as he swept the floors and cleaned the candlesticks, sort of missed the little guys. He had gotten used to them, and thought they were cool.

Monday
Confessions.

After her quick briefing and being shown precisely what her tasks were (and how not to burn the Post Office down, not like she expected to do as such, anyway), Setsuna was ready for her first day. At her first job. That didn't involve killing or sabotaging people for money. Or trying to get rid of her demon side, but that bit at Hitsuzen wasn't really a job....

...It was a strange feeling. Not bad. Not necissarily good, either. Just...strange.

She did like being around all this paper, though. She may have been practising her paper magic a bit on a few envelopes when things got boring.

[[ bwa ha ha, setsuna with a job. XD Wait for OCD! Going to bed after this, but I'll be around for most of tomorrow ]]

Café Fina, Monday

Today was a dancing sort of day. Not for any particular reason, really. Lumiere just felt like dancing. Preferably with someone. Preferably female. Preferably attractive. Not that Lumiere is shallow or anything.
So, while the flatware is singing, Lumiere and any female staff member within reach will be spending the day dancing.
Because that's just a good way to spend a Monday, isn't it?

Today's Specials Board reads:
Dance with the Maitre d', eat for half price!
Lumiere reserves the right to refuse dances with anyone who looks like they'll break his leg.

They're going to start the week on the right foot. Preferably. Nobody wants to get their toes stepped on.

(ooc: One moment for OCD! OCD is up, Fina is open!)

Millie was up early doing some rearranging and unpacking of new stock for the bookstore. She was terribly excited about being a bookstore owner and even more excited about her first day being open.

She hung a sign in the window saying Under New Management: Come in and Explore and Help Find a New Name and she had tea things set out for anyone who might like a cup of tea or cocoa while they browsed. Proudfoot contented herself with dozing in the window.

She also set out a suggestion box for anyone who might want to leave suggestions for a new name for the store.

The bookstore is open!

The first thing Giles did that morning was locate his new shop and do a walkthrough. Some of the supplies he'd ordered ahead of time had already arrived and so there were a number of large crates in the center of the floor.

It looked like he had his day's work laid out for him.

Chad was in a good mood for work today; the kind of good mood that made people like him drift off in the middle of things with a slightly dopey grin on his face.

Today's Music was a mix of the Doors, Cake, Van Morrison, the Killers, the Who, Shonen Knife, and mariachi music.

He didn't bring his jacket in with him today, though, although he did think about it.

[[ empire's open ]]

Lana came in to work at the store wondering about the new owner and hoping they'd get along.

Town Hall - Monday

Braca's feeling proud of himself today. A call from Scorpius and the ability to taunt a student who'd been tossed into jail does that to a man.

So, he's kicked back, with his feet on the desk and a smile on his face.

Jarod was quiet as he opened the bar and taped the zombies (the drummer wanted to try something new and asked to be taped to the stool and drumsticks), then settled back behind the bar to continue trying to hack Parker's laptop for the information about where she'd gone the day before.

If he looked like he hadn't slept in over twenty-four hours, well, it was because he hadn't.

Lust? Check.

Sloth? Check.

Today?

Envy.

Today's drink: Something slightly better than the person on your left.

The person on your right will have something better than you.

Sokka straightened up the counter a bit and put on his new spiffy hat. The post office was open.
This was going to be fun!

...

Ten minutes later he decided Moist had been lying about the "adventure" part.

...

An hour later, there was a *splorch* from the back room as something heavy and wet flew out of the Sorting Engine. And tiny drunken voices. )

He got Gladys to mop up the mess before it ate away too much of the floor polish, and went back to being bored.

Natalie? Was entrenched in a booth, working her way through about half of the restaurant's menu. It had been years since she had been able to taste anything beyond coffee and alcohol; the spring rolls, egg drop soup, the phoenix and dragon, and the chicken lo mein were, in a word, heaven. And, while she wasn't shovelling, she was certainly eating as though she hadn't touched food in, say, ten years or so.

The waiter kept her tea cup filled, and for that he was going to get a big tip. If he'd stop staring at her like she'd sprouted an extra head, that is...which she hoped she hadn't.

[Open for SP interaction and any Ching Tai needs.]
