Yitzhak had the pseudo-laptop clunker out again today, and he was engrossed in the novel-length Bitterwoman BDSM fic he'd discovered online somewhere. The disclaimers on it said it wasn't safe for work, but seriously, who was going to bust him for doing that? He ran the damn place.

Mercifully the kitchen staff had no idea about this, or they'd have fled in terror. Because yes, this was giving Yitzhak ideas for . . . shall we say special-occasion outfits.

Really. Terror.

. . . see, it really wasn't safe for work after all.

Luke's is open, and don't you wish Yitzhak didn't have an internet connection today, too?

[OOC: Usual disclaimers apply, at work until 8:30 EST, etc. God I wish they'd give me my permanent computer already.]

Turtle had been too busy at work yesterday to post do much other than all the inventory and technical stuff, and she'd been so productive with it that it left her with so little to do today that she'd almost regretted coming in. Apu could definitely handle a day like this himself. This meant she either needed to find herself a project, or be stuck thinking about the fact that she had a boy in her room the other night, which was still weeeeeird. So she was working on sorts of things to help the store appeal to the new students that might be coming in with the new semester.

It involved glitter. It always involved glitter.

Today's Squishy flavors: Lavender, Lilac, Red.

Turtle & Canary is open!

Johnny had a muffin and a large mug of steaming coffee, and he was sitting at a table reading a current motocross magazine. He was feeling itchy. Not literally but emotionally. He wanted, needed, the excitement of supercross right now. Maybe he could go home for the weekend, see Sue for about five minutes or so, then thrillingly seek the dome, joining the forces of the sport he freaking loved.

Eh, it was a thought. A damn good one at that.

(The Perk is open for any perky needs.)

River sat behind the desk, happily spinning around in the office chair while studying the ceiling. She wasn't talking to Gunther today. The menu was neatly written, however:

Welcome to the Arms Hotel!

Talk to him. I won't.

[The Arms Hotel is open.]

At least it wasn't raining. Gabriel glared at the broken window while sitting perched on the beck of a pew. The coffee kept him warm however, and he amused himself by playing the trumpet again, wondering if he's ever get to use those apocalyptic fanfares for real. It was a sad thought.

[The church is open]

It was cleaning day at the Photo Hut, which meant Leo was cleaning out his bongs.

Photo Hut is open.

GOB was taking a nap behind the bar. This meant that Tino had to do all the work.

Unless, of course, somebody deemed it necessary to wake GOB up. Then Tino would have to do all the work AND get GOB a drink.

[OOC: I'm around but may be slow. Mod Tino unless you'd rather wake GOB up.]

Johnny was at Ching Tai, waiting for Vala.

While he was waiting, he was building a small log cabin with chopsticks.

The waiters were not amused.

Jack, bags slung over his shoulder and the plant held safely in one arm, made his way to Selkie Cove.

He dropped the bags but hung onto the plant as he checked the time. It wouldn’t be long now. With a deep breath, he looked over his shoulder, back towards the school, and then grinned. "See you, Fandom."

With those words, there was a flash of blue light, and he was gone.

[And Jack is gone, for good this time. Establishy only, but OOC totally welcome. Thank you everyone so much. You made playing Jack an utter blast.]

It was close to midnight when three people and two cats made their way slowly through town. Sure, Bel could've shimmered them directly from the dorms to California, but this gave them an excuse to linger a little longer.

When they reached the causeway, Bel and Phoebe set down their bags (well, Anders set down Phoebe's bags, because he wouldn't let her carry them herself). The cats sprawled on a patch of grass as the three of them stood there in silence for awhile.

[For [livejournal.com profile] futurebucs_star and [livejournal.com profile] future_visions. Last post for Bel and Phoebe, but goodbyes can still be said here.]

Liz came in to the Post Office on time and set up for her shift.

[ooc: wait for the OCD is up!]
