The Arms Hotel Lobby, Saturday [1013]

As usual, the lobby was set up buffet-style for afternoon tea. There were usual assortment of pastries, scones, tea sandwiches and gourmet teas as well as coffee.

Mary claimed a pot of chocolate-flavored tea and sat down with her task list for the cook-out that she and Stan were throwing tomorrow afternoon.

Trooper Station - Saturday

There weren't any little knights scampering through the station today, which was a bit sad as they'd been a fun distraction. And well, Roy liked distractions. Some more than others. Today's involved shooting rubber bands into the waste bin he'd placed on top of the chair opposite his desk.

If anyone asked, it was to practice his depth vision.

D'Argo had offered to take on the Saturday night shifts. He was so far spending his time behind the bar wondering how different Saturday nights were, like it was going to be hugely different from Wednesdays. And like he hadn't covered a Saturday once before. Maybe there would be fights, or dancing girls, or something. Hey, he didn't know.

Gabriel had found a whole cupboard full of candles, and had lit them all in an effort to warm up the church a little. It didn't quite work, and he had to be careful so that his clothes didn't accidentally catch fire.

The Open/Closed sign was entirely absent from the door today. In fact, said door was just open at the slightest of angles, and Cable was nowhere to be found in the shop.

He was, in fact, in the meditation room, wearing only sweatpants because he was a show-off for ease as he went through his morning exercises.

He didn't particularly expect the day to be quiet.

He was about to be proven right.
