George Michael slept all day long yesterday and forgot to open the stand. He was going to stay an extra hour today to make up for it. He was cool like that.

Chris held the door for Lana as they entered the restaurant.

[ooc: Chris is here with Lana, but open for all your Chinese food needs. Up early for availability issues.]

Yitzhak was behind the counter with the quasi-laptop brick, paging through various costume websites and giving some thought to a Halloween costume. What was the fun in dressing up when you did it all the time, though?

The HELP WANTED sign was up in the window, and the pompadour wig had little glittery ghost barrettes in it today.

Luke's is open.

Mary and Gunther were having an argument today. Gunther wanted to continue serving afternoon tea buffet style. Mary had pulled the menus out of storage and wanted to go back to ordering a la carte. Anyone unlucky enough to be walking through the lobby today might find themselves in the middle of a heated argument.

Welcome to the Arms Hotel!
Please join us for afternoon tea.

[Open! I should be around all day.]

Savannah was sitting on a stool behind the counter. She was there and tried looking attentive, but every so often, she would put her head down on the counter.

However, she was here and if you needed help, she would be willing to help.

Nast Sporting Goods was open for business.

D'Argo had been exprimenting. He'd poured random two types of alcohol into a shot glass, then placed it on the bar. Then he'd poured another two types into another shot glass and placed it on the bar. And so on and so forth. He just kind of wanted to see what would work and what people would try, and if people didn't like it, well, more for him.

This job was probably going to bite him in the eema eventually, huh?

Gabriel had run out of donuts. And coffee. And most other types of food. Not to mention candles. The church was getting chilly. Of course, he did now have a cowbell. God did have an odd sense of humour.

[The church is open]

Roy doubted he was going to get an unexpected visitor at the station today, but he still had taken precautions. His desk was mostly clean, there were only two neat stacks on top of it. One pile that he still had to go through and another that was already done. The ball of rubber bands was nowhere to be seen as was any other form of distractions.

Quite frankly? It was boring and he tapped his fingers impatiently against the desk as he stared at the paper in front of him. At least he could take comfort in the fact that if anyone would dare to open one of the cabinets, they'd get caught in an avalanche of papers (the mess that to go somewhere after all).

And now he was pondering calling Ralph in here to see the look on his face if he did just that. Then Roy remembered the trooper rarely took off his helmet. There went his entertainment for the afternoon.

Leo was sleeping, with his head resting on the counter. The pumpkin he'd carved yesterday was sitting facing the wrong way, as if it were looking at him.

Presently, Leo awoke, saw the Jack-O-Lantern, and recoiled, falling off his chair.

Photo Hut is open.

Summer didn't normally work at bars. Actually, she had never worked before ever. But then Chris had to forget he had a job when he asked Lana out on a real date. She really was the best roommate ever for agreeing to take his place tonight. He totally owed her.

The Devil's Nest was open.

"...Gladys?" Moist stopped stock still and stared. "What's on your face?"

"It Came With The Magazine. Ten Steps To A Brighter You. For Women Who Want To Make An Impression." Gladys held out a glossy magazine, a woman on the cover with teeth enough to instill fear in sharks.

"...I see." Back away slowly, just back away slowly.

Unfortunately, backing away at any speed wasn't an option. Moist had a Post Office to open.

Which he did, keeping as much distance between himself and Gladys as possible.

Due to the lack of food in the church, Gabriel had ventured out of his home and found his way to J,GoB, where he had ordered, and reluctantly paid for, a cup of coffee and a donut. Perhaps it was the caffeine, perhaps the sugar or perhaps it was just an illusion, but he looked almost as if he was in a good mood. That was likely to change quickly however.

[Completely open, of course.]

After his breakfast and dorky cartoon, Sulley arrived at work and opened up the store. He could have had a witty encounter before opening, but he was too full from breakfast to notice anything weird going on around him.
