The Easter bunny had been good to Alex. Yes, he had. She'd received a ton of candy yesterday. It had somehow magically appeared on her desk. She had a hunch that it was her dad's doing. She was totally okay with that.

She was armed with tons of Cadbury eggs, caramel and creme alike, and wasn't about to share them with anyone. No sir. A cup of tea in one hand and a box of Cadbury eggs in the other, Alex settled down behind the counter, ready to chow down.

Seriously, Cadbury eggs were awesome.

The Park: Sunday afternoon

The poor peeps had slowly stiffened as the day progressed, until their little peep selves were too stiff to move. They were still soft and squishy inside, but their sugary coating had become just that little bit crunchy.

Bad for moving. Good for eating.

That would be why someone had gathered up hundreds of them into big bowls and put those big bowls on tables in the park. That same someone has also made a massive sign that said:

Considering the peeps had been running about all day, that someone was a bit of a bastard. Which probably meant the fabulous prizes was a total lie.

Pixie Dust, Monday

It was possible Yurika's birthday had kept Romeo out a little too late the night before, as he looked distinctly under the weather (but, somehow, also very pleased with himself) as he unlocked the store and set up for his shift.

He spent most of the day, or at least the parts he didn't spend flicking through fashion magazines, unboxing and hanging spring jackets. Soon it would be warm enough to go without a coat altogether.

Pizza Planet, Monday 2/24

Tom was a little cheerier than he had been upon coming to work today. He'd finally found a use for the copious amounts of leftover ham from the Scavo family Easter dinner, and Lynette had been back to her usual self last night.

Bowls of chocolate eggs sat on each table and at the counter, free for customers to take.

Annette was situated behind the counter busily making a paperclip chain. Currently it was long enough to hang over the counter and drag on the floor below where Angel was swatting at it with her paws.

"Careful, Angel, you're going to get your claws cau--"

Mrrrrreeeeoooooow!

Annettte smirked. "Told you so."

There was much hopping and flailing about before Angel got her claws free and took off running towards the back of the post office.

Humming lightly, Annette continued with her chain, a little smirk settling about her mouth.

The post office was open.

Luke's Diner, March 24 (Monday)

Yitzhak was at the diner a good hour and a half before he usually showed up, mostly to escape the blinking message light on his phone at home. Phyllis Stein kept calling him, for reasons he didn't think he wanted to know, so he was being avoidy. Sure, he could have just grunted noncommittally at her, but he'd much rather not hear what she had to say at all right now.

Thus, work.

He still hadn't done much in the way of cleaning, although he did bestir himself long enough to pick up a particularly gross crumpled napkin in a corner.

Today's Specials
There was a crude sketch on the board today, and 'crude' referred more to the subject matter than the artistic merit, although the sketch was severely lacking in that too.

Is Luke's open? You could probably consider it to be, in a very broad sense.

Groovy Tunes; Monday [ 03/24 ]

Chad had found a bag of jellybeans from Easter...of last year, somewhere in the room last night, and now he brought them with him and Prince Oscar Pedro to the store. He was flicking them off the counter, sending them into the air for the kittens to chase.

And then he flicked one of them into a glass case that shattered on impact, and Chad winced and realized that should be the end of the Bullet-Hard Jelly Bean Flicking Game, and went over to clean it up.

George Michael Bluth had a great weekend with Mary. He tried not to laugh too much at all the marshmallow peeps, especially the one that liked her hair. He just played with them until they started getting stiff. That was a little awkward.

Anyway, he was at work this morning getting the stand ready for business and not wishing at all that he had anymore cute bunny peeps.

Lucas enjoyed his job. He worked extra hard knowing that Ms. Stayton had gone out of her way to help him. It helped that he got to tinker with the go karts and see the tricks of the mini golf traps all while having plenty of free time.

Today he spent his time making some phone calls. Oddly, he couldn't get in touch with Nathan or Haley, but Lucas was pleased to find his mother at the cafe. He wasn't as happy with her news.

"What do you mean you gave my room to Brooke?" That was a question Lucas never thought he'd have to ask his mother.

There was a very relaxed Mary at the front desk today. Nothing was any different than usual today except that Gunther had switched the coffee from regular to decaf. Without the extra boost of caffeine, Mary was just chilling out at the desk instead of charging through her usual to-do list.

There was an Open sign by the door and a dog lying quietly beside it, his ears tucked back against his head. Cable, himself, was nowhere to be seen-- but that had never been a particularily rare occurance.

He was in the back, in the locked room, working the last pieces of the teleportation unit with quiet efficiency. But that wasn't anything that would concern any visitors.
