Making his way through town, Murdock paused and studied the change in nearby coastline. "That don't look like Greece," he muttered. Shrugging, he continued on his way to The Perk.

Grabbing a cup of coffee, he settled in at a table and began flipping through one of the books on spacecraft he'd gotten from Millie. He'd have to share some of this with Reno once he arrived. which could take a while given his current doll state. hahaha!

(ooc: open for all your perkly and/or murdocky needs! workday=SPday for me.)

So, Sokka had (handwavily) swapped shifts with Jamie to avoid having work on the same day as most of his classes. Hurray.

Apu probably would have liked to have been warned, but them's the breaks. Liz, on the other hand, didn't care what day it was and ran around Sokka's ankles barking her little robotic bark while he visited the pharmaceuticals aisle for stuff to take care of his throbbing head.

Turtle and Canary was open.

It was feeling like a pretty normal Monday. After a thorough searching of the place, Prince Oscar Pedro went to sulk because none of Melody's kittens have returned and Dinah wasn't there, either, which, in his mind, meant he should have been able to stay in the cabin where Dinah was, and Chad just settled back behind the counter and flipped through a music magazine while bobbing his head to the music. He was keeping an eye out for any articles about learning how to play the drums.

Groovy Tunes is open!

Over the past couple of weeks, Lacey had gotten into the habit of stopping on her way to work in the mornings and looking out over the coastline to get a good eyeful of Santorini.

Imagine, if you will, her utter perplexity at looking out today and seeing . . . what looked like the island. As a result she was now plagued with troublesome thoughts about all those sci-fi mirror universes that Hank and Davis always argued about; never mind that they didn't mean what she thought they meant by that, since the only phrase she'd picked out of what might as well have been a conversation between two muted trumpets as far as she was concerned had been 'mirror universe.' Lacey kind of failed at sci-fi that way, so the source of her agitation at thinking about it was mostly that she was thinking about it.

Luke's is open, and nobody tell Lacey she's in France now.

[OOC: Hi, guess who just got saddled with yet another OMGsuperimportant project? >.< Mega-SP until evening. Sigh.]

Mary was absolutely thrilled. The closest she'd ever been to France was the Paris hotel and casino in Las Vegas, but she'd always wanted to see the real thing. She just hoped that the island didn't move again before she got a chance.

Welcome to the Arms Hotel!

After seeing where they were now, George Michael decided to make a French chocolate frozen banana.

Funny how it seemed to look and taste just like it always did.

The banana stand is open.

NOW HIRING! GREAT BENEFITS! SEE MR. MANANGER!

So...bribing gremlins with shiny pennies hadn't worked.

At all.

And now Luke--who thought he was a singing nun named Fraulein Maria--was twirling around in the park, singing to mountains that clearly weren't there.

"The hills are alive...."

Artoo was hiding behind a tree and recording the entire thing. He was afraid who Luke might think he was if he rolled too close. He wasn't playing drums or being a tiger for anyone this time.

[OOC: Yes, I'm out of my mind.]

Seregil opend the shop and set out sugar cookies and iced tea for any hungry customers.

The books he pulled out to read during his shift today all had to do with this worlds horses and ponies. What he had seen on the weekend had made him curious about exactly what species there were.

The Book Haven was open.

Wings folded back and away; Kerrigan pulled the coat a little tighter around her as she felt the wind tug on it. She was trying to focus on something else, some strange sliver of an instinct telling her that if she just-- pulled together.

Under the coat, torn as it was, armor pulled back and in, and the tough, hard shell of the tentacles on her head softened, framing her face more as hair should.

Her next breath should've been choked, wasn't-- preternatural strength that had started to fill the self-conscious spots. And yet, all the focus broke her concentration in other areas, filling her mind with a nigh-endless supply of annoying interference.

Sarah Kerrigan took a breath. It was just a damn beach.

Workshops were going well, Alex was happy about that. Making her way down to the Magic Box, she opened it up on time, making sure things were clean.

Smiling to herself, Alex settled behind the counter and thumbed through her latest style magazine. There were some cute shoes in there and Alex was thinking about treating herself to them.

The Magic Box was open.

Jolee was taking a personal day. What was he doing with it? Tino didn't know. Tino didn't care. All Tino cared about was that he didn't have to deal with the old man for a night.

[OOC: Long day at work on not enough sleep, hence Tino.]
