They were, apparently, in France, a hundred odd years after Romeo had last been there.

This called for a special. He poured himself a snifter of Grand Marnier (it tasted like oranges, which made it an acceptable morning drink) and set a sign out front of the store reading:

SALE!
FRENCH DESIGNERS
20% OFF
Nous avons les meilleures modes moderne.
ENTREZ!

Pixie Dust was open. Frenchily.

It hadn't escaped G'Kar's notice that the island had moved. He was very curious about this new place and had handwavily checked out a book from the library on the history of Normandy. He had already planned to visit there sometime later in the week.

In lieu of any specials sign, there was another one instead:

Now Hiring!
Inquire Within
Ask for G'Kar or Turtle Wexler

Today's Squishy Flavors: Red, Sunset Beach, Tutti Frutti

(the military history geek in me is loving the new locale! *g*)

For the first time the sign outside the shop actually read Open. Tony was thinking that maybe this would deter customers as being closed only seemed to encourage them.

Weird place.

And he'd even managed to work right through the pony and sudden move to France incidents, assuming Jarvis was trying to play at something when the radio was relayed to him that evening.

"I don't care what he says, I need the palladium here yesterday, Pepper."

And for someone not actually there with him, Pepper continued to do a lot of work for him.

Alice was quite eager to return to the store and get back to her very important research. That was, to once more dive into the rows of CDs and work on catching up on the entire eras and genres of music that she had missed.

She was now on the latter half of A, still selecting anything that looked promising. Fiona Apple was worth investigating further. Tori Amos she had nearly skipped by, as the woman-with-piano concept seemed a bit tame, but there were velvety dark edges she wouldn't have imagined. Apocalyptica, on the other hand, seemed to be an error in naming.

Groovy Tunes was open, and its attendant was sorting through an enormous stack of CDs.

And so, there was rehersal.

The sign was out front as per usual, ragged and ridiculous as ever. Written below it was the important bit, though.
Rehersals for Titus Andronicus

He awaited his actors.

[ooc: still casting so if new pups who'll be here for the summer would like to get a part, PLEASE do tag in!] [ocd coming up!] [sorry for lateness: work internet issues are the suck]

Donut was using a ridiculous French accent when he came into work today. He also bought berets for everybody to wear. The zombies enjoyed them. Tino didn't.

Adam opened up Wonders, whistling a quiet tune to himself.

Course List )

[OOC: OCD will be right up!]

Liz came in to work on time and made sure that everything was set up properly for her shift. Once she had done that she settled behind the counter to do some reading while she waited for any one who might need her help.

[ooc: wait for the OCD is up!]
