Dad had always called Sarah an enterprising kind of girl. So she enterprised her way to the beach where there were waves and sand castles to be built just like back home. She flopped in the sand and--

She didn't have a bucket. Oops.

With a concentrated frown, she set to work anyway. She was enterprising!

Charlotte had had such a fun time yesterday, drawing new pictures to put up in the gallery to cover up all those ugly ones, but the ones she and Kevin drew could only cover so much. So she was busy at work at the reception desk, scribbling away all sorts of castle and fairies and ballerinas and ponies and puppies and princesses and knights and dragons (even though she wasn't very good at those) and flowers and butterflies. And shoes. She drew some pretty shoes, too, and whenever she finished one, she put a price tag of about fifteen dollars on it, hurried into the gallery, posted it somewhere, and then went back to work.

There were plenty of crayons and paper for everyone else to contribute, but only if they drew pretty things.

She'd also found some cookies, but did not know how to work the coffee machine, which was okay, because coffee would stunt her growth, and Charlotte didn't want to be a ballerina anymore today. She wanted to be a model, and they had to be tall.

But not too tall.

The York Gallery is open!

After spending ALL YESTERDAY chasing a kangaroo, Wolverine didn't feel like doing exercise stuff today. Nope! Today was nap time in the gym! He had mats and pillows laid out in case anyone else needed a nap.

[OOC: No OCD. Feel free to come in and take a nap. But if you bug the lil' Wolvie, he might be cranky.]

...he'd seen the kids around.

...he'd seen this before.  And he knew how this place was.

Geoffrey opened the box office, praying that none of his actors had become children for the weekend.  Everything had been going so well

[ocd coming up!]

Vala didn't want to be at stupid work. She wanted to be outside, playing and not at all getting into trouble, really. Not at all like she had yesterday. Firefighters, she'd learned, were very nice and good at getting you out of places that maybe you shouldn't have hidden even if they were really sneaky hiding places, meaning that you maybe should have hidden there after all.

Plus she'd gotten a lollipop. Cherry.

She'd written out the specials and was wondering if anyone would come in to play with her.

SPECIALS:

Chicken noodle soup
Grilled cheese sandwich with no crusts
Ice cream

Sam arrived on time really he swore with the groceries for the week, put those away, and went back downstairs to open the storefront. With that taken care of, he started looking around at the stuff in the shop, wondering if there was anything here he could safely touch without risking an explosion or something.

Probably not.

Stark Industries was open.

((Sorry, guys, I've been at the library all day! *shoots paper*))

Jolee came downstairs to see a six year old Tino working the bar. This was something that he wanted absolutely no part of, so he made sure the liquor was locked up tight, put up a sign saying "CHILD BARTENDER MEANS NO BOOZE TONIGHT" to go along with the "HELP WANTED" and "THREE MINUTE DATES" signs, and started back towards the stairs.

Then he saw the zombies playing music on kazoos.

He went back to the stairs just a little bit quicker after that.

[OOC: Jolee is avoiding this whole thing like the plague. Sticking around is just asking for some kid to call him grandpa. Anyway, please mod Tiny Tino tonight.]

On the door of the church was the usual note:

Do-it-yourself Sunday Service

Gabriel hade coffee and donuts. Cat had a dead mouse.

[open church!]

River sat in a tree, eating an apple and watching a small spider wander down her leg. Eventually it let go of her, lowering itself on a thin thread suspended from her big toe. She wouldn't stay long enough for there to be a web. The spider would have to start all over again somewhere else.

[open!]

It was almost dark, and Jack knew that meant he should be home before somebody got worried.

But, he realized, there was no one in town he could worry. Excited by this, he wandered down to the beach and set himself the task of constructing the tallest sandcastle he could manage. He even took off his sandals and waded in to collect shells.

The best part, of course, would be after the sandcastle was built. Then he could bring it down.

[OOC: Open!]

Faith had found some loose change under her couch! Four whole dollars!

So she did the 'sponsible thing and went to the ice cream shop and got the biggest, gooey-est sundae she could for four dollars. It had whipped cream and nuts and sprinkles and everything.

(So, so open.)
