For the last wek or so, Jack had this funny feeling. Feeling like he'd forgotten something. Something important.

No, he was wearing pants.

Jack was wandering around the shop, wonderinf if he could take a picture of infinity if he set two cameras facing each other.

This was the week between classes, and the weekend would see new faces arriving. So G'Kar, working alongside Apu, was cleaning the store.

The idea was to get the store to really sparkle and shine.

Today's Squishy Flavors: Lemon, Green Apple, Floor Wax

(eh, I really have no idea - just go with it *g*)

It had been a very quiet week so far.

This... made Temari check her weapons more. Just to be sure. They might suddenly end up in another place and she might need them.

Or she was just being paranoid. One of those two.

There was something shiny and sparkly on the ring finger of Mary's left hand. If she wasn't going to be getting married anytime in the near future, she was at least going to have a real diamond in her ring. Make that diamonds. Mary's ring had gotten so big that it was throwing off a glare.

Gabriel considered exploring the new parts of the island. He really did. While he considered this he was perched on the backrest of a pew watching Cat devour a dead bird. The angel himself was chewing on a donut.

Romeo barely took the time to dump his suitcase in his room (noting, with approval, that someone had brought his things back from the cabins) and make a phone call before heading into town to open Pixie Dust.

He wasn't sure what to make of his visit home; while it had failed to be a complete disaster, for which he was grateful, it also offered a life he could no longer picture as his own. He stretched out on the floor behind the counter, trying to sort this out and still keep an eye on the door for customers.

Pixie Dust was open.

Geoffrey was feeling a little sore today, so the door was open, but he was mostly laying flopped in a pile of pillows near the stage. Fiyero was up and about (somewhere, maybe in the theatre, maybe outside, who could tell?) so Geoffrey was putting his "bed" to another use for the moment. The show, after all, must go on.

Murdock wasn't entirely sure if Amber would be up for their usual session today, but he was there just in case.

Then again...given the latest circumstance, maybe she'd be up for it more than ever.

Meanwhile, he was elsewhere in the gym, taking out a few frustrations of his own on a punching bag.

Entirely therapuetic, of course.

(mainly for one, but totally open!)

Marshall had a new job. He liked it the last time he worked here and it really wasn't all that hard. He got to meet people, be in a place where everybody knew his name and there was free beer. Lots and lots of free beer. He had to share the news with his favorite vampire slash bartender. Unfortunately Carl wasn't happy about the news as Marshall was. Also it was probably best not to ask why Marshall had Carl's number on his speed dial.

"What, you don't want me to get your beers anymore?" Carl asked, sounding annoyed.

"In all fairness Carl, I do live about eight hours away," Marshall said. "But when I'm in New York you're the only bartender I want. I scoff in the face of other bartenders. Except for myself because it would physically be hard to do that. Unless I'm looking in a mirror."

"You think getting a job at a bar makes you a bartender?" Carl asked.

"Well..."

"It doesn't, lawyer-boy. You're just a wannabe," Carl said. "I should ban you from the bar for insulting me like this."

"No! No! Don't ban me!" Marshall shouted. "Carl? Hello? Carl don't hang up! Did I say this was Marshall? It's not, I'm Barney. I'M BARNEY!"

Marshall hung up the phone and looked over at Tino. "He'll forgive me. He forgave me for stealing that nude painting of myself, he'll forgive me for this."

[Yep, Marshall is now working at the bar on Tuesdays. And I am around, huzzah!]
