Viki had to admit that the paint yesterday had been interesting to watch, though not so interesting as to make her wish to go out and explore in it, and other than that the rest of the week had actually been fairly pleasant.

She sat on the counter, contemplating if she wanted to try more of the supplies they had here, and swung her feet idly. It would, she supposed, not hurt anyone, and might prove interesting…

After a relatively quiet week, Ella was grateful to have the structure of work today and a slumber party to look forward to tomorrow. She spent her shift trying to get all the diner's silverware so clean she could see her reflection in them.

She had a strange sense of fun sometimes.

Reports, reports, reports. Ray had a hell of a lot to catch up on, still, and he wasn't gonna enjoy it.

He also wasn't looking forward to the first time he had to write one of these... a thought that lasted him until the complaints about yesterday's assault-by-painted-rock started pouring in.

He needed way, way more coffee to deal with this.

Despite the green of yesterday and the slightly awkward section of yesterday's dinner, Liir was in a relatively good mood. He'd brought a few brownies around for Millie as a thank you for letting him go to the fair last week, he'd come in early and done a thorough cleaning and straightening job, and he was quite happily setting out the tea and cookies when it came time to turn the sign and unlock the door.

He slipped behind the counter with a book on mathematics from the bin at the back and sipped on a jar of pearlfruit tea he'd brought with him.

Mary was still feeling pretty awful about how she'd behaved last weekend, which is why she skipped over the rest of her lunch to get straight to dessert.

Kaylee had definitely not slept really late. And she certainly was not rushing into work with her hair flying all over and her shirt still only half-buttoned.

...okay, she buttoned it up and smoothed her hair as soon as she was behind the counter, because no one needed to see that, but still. Close call.

Charlotte was glad to see that everything was relatively normal today; no rocks turning tings colors or other subsequent strangeness that she could see, but, on that same note, it made her worry. If there was something, after all, then she wasn't seeing it. She'd just stick with feeling glad that the weekend gave her an excuse for a little break, settled in at her desk, and tried to make sure that a weekend break wouldn't put her behind or anything.

Rosie was staring, hands on her hips, at the pieces of Worf's bat'leth. She'd agreed to try repairing it, but she really didn't know where to start.

She wasn't a smith, she was just a horse-leech who happened to know some smithing. Narl would know how to fix it.

But Narl wasn't here, and she had no way to ask him for help.

Deliberately putting that thought out of her head, she picked up one piece, turning it over in her hands, learning its shape and weight, frowning as she worried at the problem.

For reasons Jolee couldn't begin to comprehend, Tino was speaking with a British accent tonight. Maybe he thought he was being funny. Maybe he thought he was being elegant. What he was being, Jolee felt, was an idiot.

[OOC: I have no creativity. Sitting in traffic that long killed my brain. But Jolee is still around, huzzah!

ETA: LJ The internet is being very wonky for me tonight. If I'm slow, it's probably due to LJ the internet being a whore.]
