The kitchen staff stared at Prince Edward when he came into work. He was looking decidedly normal; not princely at all. They snickered and Prince Edward glared, realizing his mistake.

"Get to work, peasants! Or I shall dispatch you all at once!" Threatening them didn't seem to affect their otherwise snickering selves.

"You won't like my sword! Trust me you filthy beasts!"

Prince Edward might be suffering tension.

MHA Lobby, Tuesday

Every Tuesday (or whatever day he decided to actually do some work), Loki had the internal debate with himself about just fucking off and finding something else to do. Every Tuesday (or, again, whatever day he decided to actually do some work), he, for some reason, overruled fucking off work and went to work. He was starting to fear himself.

But, this Tuesday went the same way and, like clockwork, Loki was out in the lobby again. He wasn't behind the desk though. If he stayed still too long, he'd figured he'd fall asleep or get so bored, he'd just punch a wall for something to do. It was too cold to actually go outside and lay around the pool (fucking weather) so Loki was fiddling around with some of the new lobby furniture he'd ordered awhile back (that had just arrived, fast shipping his fucking ass). Four chairs and the table in the middle and he thought that it gave the lobby a little more fucking decor.

So, to celebrate, Loki was in one of those chairs, feet on the table and baseball cap pulled low over his eyes. See, he was totally working and totally not really asleep.

Hinata had to admit that she was glad enough to be back from vacation, that it was over, and it was back to the regular routine. After all, on vacation there hadn’t been Yei. Or the bookstore, or her usual practice, and it was very... peaceful to come back to it.

Even when Yei, who Hinata had brought with her to work today, decided to knock over a display and send books flying. She laughed, and knelt to pick them up. Yei peered around the corner, tail poofed out and eyes wide.

Clearly, in Yei’s opinion, the display had attacked her.

Her mood was pensive, and Ino was actually listening to radio and chewing on her lip as she did so. Because, really, some things bore consideration. Even if she didn’t want them to. Ugh.

She paused it, and rewound it, and started over again. And made a face. What was she supposed to do now? Geez. Backing down wasn’t exactly first, second, or third nature but she didn’t...

Ugh.

It wasn't going to be awkward to learn how to roller skate on camera with Hannibal if she didn't allow it to be awkward. They were friends. Friends could have fun. She was not She-Ra. (Except for how she was.)

Trying to be focused, Adora stared down at her pretty, blue roller skates, lacing them up tightly and approving of the way they matched her dress. (When she'd heard skates were like cars on her feet, she probably should have realized padding should have been part of her purchase. Alas.)

Standing back up, she felt steady so far. "I feel pretty steady so far! This is going to be a piece of cake!" No, she had not yet moved on the wheels.

Spring Break had flown by. Adam had spent part of it handwavily at home. It had been nice to catch up. Getting to work on time, he set to re-stocking some of the shelves and re-organizing a display.

As he expected, Lion-o was being punished for locking Snarf in a closet so he could go on the spring break trip. Today, his punishment consisted of washing everything in the kitchen by hand while the staff got to relax. They felt bad for him, though, so the pepper shaker and cheese grater took turns distracting Snarf while the rest of the staff listened to Lion-o's stories about the cruise.

Mary had decided to go green when it came to her cleaning supplies, so she had started ordering Method cleaners to replace the traditional ones. Not only were they more environmentally-friendly, but they didn't smell as awful as the ammonia and bleach ones.

However, the housekeeping staff didn't seem to embrace the idea. They went and bought the regular stuff as usual and proceeded to clean the lobby with some nasty-smelling stuff that made Mary feel sick. She sat at the front desk, feeling miserable and wondering how to win the cleaning staff back over to her side. It's too bad she'd forgotten that she could fire people who didn't follow orders.

Today, though, she was experiencing a minor crisis: She'd broken a heel on her way in today. Since she wasn't mechanically-inclined, she was poking around the shop trying to find something to repair it with. She'd already decided soldering was out.

Being gone for an entire week had left Turtle feeling just a wee bit restless regarding the store, so she came in, when she wasn't in class, in on of the days where just Apu was on duty, to catch up on everything from sales reports to just sitting behind the register because it was comfortable and familiar and awesome. There was certainly more than enough housekeeping to work on, and having stuff to do made her pretty content.
