Geoffrey, at the crack of dawn, toddled out of the theatre with a list. Parts of his hair had been tugged at, some had even come out. His eyes were bloodshot, great big circles under his eyes.

But he had his cast. That made it all worth it.

Then he tottered back in to start preparing for tomorrow. Yes, it would take a whole 'nother day.

It was kind of a miracle Lacey had gotten out of the apartment today, all things considered, as she hadn't done so since Saturday. The fact that her phone call back to Dog River to tell them about the goldfish-spitting alligators had gotten a loud whoop and a "I toldja they were real, huh? Huh?" from Hank hadn't made matters much better.

Luke's is open. Lacey needs to get over herself though.

When Romeo arrived to unlock the shop at 9:45 Monday morning, there was already a line of burly delivery men waiting outside with crates of the latest summer fashions.

Whatever Eric had said the day before, it had worked. Romeo even managed to negotiate the delivery men into opening the crates for him and doing some of the initial unpacking with very, very little effort.

He made a mental note to give Eric a raise, then settled in to spend the day unpacking and arranging the new stock.

His still in SP trip to Dathomir had gotten a little out of hand (and Ender didn't mean the rancors). As he opened up Stark's that morning, having just checked the cast list (interesting choice, at least) he wondered, vaguely, if it was some kind of family tradition for Ben that niggling people on the parts of their lifestyle you disagreed with naturally had to follow out of a violent threat on your life.

Preferably during said violent threat on your life. How lucky for Ben that evasion and over-relativating of important subjects was a Wiggin family tradition.

Still, now that he was back in the cool, familiar, comforting confines of Stark's shop, he had better things on his mind. With no real project given to him by Stark, he could now sit down and browse what files he could find on terraforming.

Occasionally, he'd click away to find some more background on the play.

It was, as they say, a hobby.

Worf arrived at his usual time and did the usual things to get the store ready for its usual lack of customers.

When the usual tasks were completed, Worf headed back to the meditation area where he began going through his mok'bara routines.

If anyone entered the store he was in earshot to hear them and provide assistance.

[Sorry. Left my OCD in another post]

Daisy knew she couldn't even blame Ralph for the scores of paperwork in the office today. Apparently, it wasn't enough putting in a full day and then some of active duty; she got back and had piles of paperwork to file for it, too. She'd happily do it, though. Fairly happily, anyway, because it sure beat out how she had it in London, where she got known of the active jobs, yet all of the paperwork.

Plus, there was plenty of coffee.

Alex opened up the shop on time, armed with some tea and a list of spells. There were a couple of items needed for one or two spells on the list.

She put them aside for purchase later and moved to sort through a box of various magical items. They would be added to the displays, once they were re-organized.

As much as Turtle tried to convince herself it was still the alligators on Friday and Himura's comment that she was just getting in the way that left her in a funk all through the weekend, she knew she couldn't convince herself of that anymore. Mostly because she'd gotten past the point of pretending something was wrong and was just downright depressed. It was all Valentine Wiggin's fault, too, her and her stupid date and necklace making Turtle think about how much she missed Jeff and then having to go and spend time in their room, which wasn't their room anymore, because he wasn't there and she was thinking about how stupid she probably was with the whole break up, or maybe not, it wouldn't matter, he was in England now anyway, and stupid, stupid, stupid...

She went into the store today, hoping some paperwork would make her feel better, but it only improved her mood marginally. At least it gave her something to do, that wasn't in room 513. But it sucked that her mood was still so stuck in a rut.

The sign in the window read

Covent Garden Flowers

Eliza Doolittle, prop.
Fresh flowers from nosegays to bouquets!
Delivery available upon request.
Please stay at least ten feet from prop. at all times for your own health.

The flower shop was open, but the owner didn't particularly want to sneeze all over the clientele.

Ironically, it was hay fever due to the ragweed they'd mistakenly included instead of baby's breath in the latest shipment, but Eliza assumed she had some sort of plague.

Which is why the tea she was sipping was.... slightly adulterated. As you do.

[OOC: Um. I had a brain but work ated it. Open!]

Yondaime wasn't sure how he managed to pull it off, but he had slept through most of the weekend, getting up only once or twice to eat and do other bodily needs. He must have needed it through and still did as he kept nodding off at the bar.

What was it about sleeping that made a person so damn sleepy!

The zombies and Tino were at least having fun with it. When Yondaime woke up from this latest nap there would be a plethora of drink decoratives lodged in his hair.

"So what did you do this weekend after all the alligators were dealt with?" Dinah asked, holding the door to J,GOB open for Zack. "Aside from Fight Club, and I was distracted there."

[for the other boucy happy person, but open for all your J,GOB needs.]

"And then, guess who nailed him with a can of peaches?" Bender said, leaning on a broomhandle. The brush-head was - somewhere else. Like Bender cared, or would have been any more productive if it had still been attached.

He trailed around, pushing the rubbish into a fairly rude symbol for anyone who read alienese and snorted. That was his ten minutes of working done - now for the lazing around on a bench. That dent wasn't going to become Bender's-ass-shaped on its own.

The Gig was open!
