Considering that the majority of the club had probably worked off a good amount of aggression against their reptile friends the other day, Ghanima was pleased to see how many people actually showed up. "Good evening," she said cheerily. "Nice to see no one got eaten by the fish."

"And if anyone got nibbled, chicks dig scars," Tyler said wryly as he ran a thumb over his lips. "So we are here to fight. Not because monsters are attacking us; because we're the monsters, and this is where our dark sides come out." A pause. "Or it might just be a chance to kick the shit out of somebody in a semi-sanctioned way."

"There is nothing 'dark side' about violence," Ghanima countered primly. "That sort of repressive and puritanical thinking leads to mental health problems." Not that she could talk. "And this is not a pick-up joint, Durden, no checking out those of us with scars."

"I think I got spanked for the week," Tyler said. "All right. Matches. Uh ... you two, you two, you and ... Ghani, who do you think?"

Her lips twitched in amusement at the shortening of her name, but she didn't correct him. "With that person there. And you and you, you make a cute couple. Hrm. And the person over there, and that one. Yes, you. Don't look so shocked."

"I think that's five," Tyler said. "Triela, see me on that mat, okay? Everyone else, go have fun."

The Gig, Sunday

Once the horses had been fed for the day, Firekeeper and Blind Seer led them outside as usual. And, as usual, it wasn't long before Blind Seer and Duke began their game of chasing each other around the paddock.

G'Kar was busy behind the counter, writing up a storm in his journal. It wasn't his usual laid-back pace either, more like a flurry of words scrawling across the pages.

He'd received a missive from Delenn the previous evening, and Things Were Not Good. Seemed he would have to go sooner rather than later.

Apu quietly went about his own work, not wanting to disturb G'Kar too much.

(please to be modding your service today, I'm still out of town. and can you guess what else is coming?)

Cafe Fina, Sunday

Somebody had sold Pixie Stix to Zack.

....

The dishes were horrified.

...

Today's Specials:
Hot Turkey Sandwich
Sleepytime Tea
Chloroform
Anything Sugar-Free Mon Dieu Save Us

They were probably overreacting a little. Zack was just trying to burn off most of his excess energy by doing some squats between customers.

One Thousand, seven hundred and thirty-nine... One Thousand, seven hundred and forty...

Cafe Fina was open. And due for a sugar-crash-induced coma any moment now.

After leaving the slumber party this morning, Ben stopped by his place to change and then came straight to work. His nails and hair were the same color today that they were yesterday, and he considered that a victory.

Since he was still kind of in the sleepover mood, he put up a sign: "ALL SLEEPWEAR, 10% OFF!" These sleepovers seemed to be popping up a lot recently, so it didn't hurt for people to be prepared for the next one.

"Unbreak my heaaaaaaart. Say you'll love me again," Biff warbled as he cleaned. "Undo this hurt that you caused when you walked out the doooooor---"

Someone had had fun last night.

Wellspring Arms is open. And tuneful.

The Playground, Noon

This was new. There had not been a playground when he'd been here before. Tim wondered how long it'd been here.

He tried to hide his nervousness by sitting on a swing and trying to remember how to swing in one. It wasn't that hard. It was like riding a bike. Which, he'd never learned to do.

[For the ex. But it's a park, so open.]

Pixie Dust, Sunday

Eric stood at the cash in Pixie Dust today; that, itself, was rather like the previous week. This time, however, he was looking about two seconds from banging his head on the counter as he all-but-yelled into the phone. "I don't care if you don't have the address in your system," he said. "I'm here, and I can't be here if it doesn't exist, can I? Get that shipment here by 10AM tomorrow -- at not cost to us, we already paid for the shipping -- or you won't find any more business from us."

No, he didn't actually have the ability to follow through on that threat, but he thought he could probably convince Romeo if he tried hard enough.

Eric? Not terribly impressed with his crash-course in retail.

The shop is open, sure, but Eric's a little too busy tearing the supplier a new one to do more than ring you through. You're best shopping on your own.

[Third verse, same as the first -- leaving the coffeeshop soon to return to the land of no 'net, so you're best modding your Pixie Dust experience. I cannot wait for Wednesday.]

Tino was sad that he didn't get to go to the sleepover last night. He had such plans for it, too! And that's why he swung a pillow at Jolee the second Jolee stepped behind the bar.

Unfortunately for him, the Sanctuary Spell took that to be violence. Tino returned five minutes later, dripping wet. His pillow was also dripping wet. Tino was not happy.

Jolee, on the other hand, found this all very amusing.

One of the benefits of being a vampire was that one could take nighttime walks in the park with a whole different sort of appreciation. Another benefit was that one could do that as late as they wanted without having to worry about having class in the morning, too, because it wasn't like they needed sleep. There was, of course, the worry of people thinking you were weird or trying to slay you or something, but Jasper was going to hedge his bets. He needed to get out of his apartment for a little bit, and there were thankfully no signs of alligators.

And he paused a moment to feed the ducks. Awww.

[[ open park is, of course, open! ]]
