Given the way that Snow White had gone, Genesis was quite firmly shoving down any expectations that he had for how this might turn out--his cast and crew had done a good job, the last time, yes, even despite the gingerbread his theatre had turned into for a day--and walked around without hurry as he made certain that everything was in it's place.

Though, on reflection, he still had two expectations:

That he would be amused, no matter how this turned out. And that he'd likely have a headache by the end of the day unless the island was blessed with an extraordinary high number of people with lovely singing voices.

... He'd settle for average, even. In his hopes.

But, Genesis thought, knowing himself, as he studied the stage, he'd cast anyone who he thought would be amusing. Because, really, if he wasn't entertained... then what was the point?

Genesis had some interesting priorities.

With a book tucked under his arm, Bod made his way into work quietly. By now, the staff was used to his quiet spells and greeted him with waves and some brief greetings. Bod returned the sentiment. It'd been awhile since he really felt like holding long, deep, personal conversations with someone so this was about all he was capable of for the moment. That didn't mean he wasn't talkative, he was just being selective with his words.

Ben was poking at his datapad and cursing under his breath. "Just load the stupid page," he muttered.

"Page not found!" the computer chirped at him.

"It's a news page! It was there an hour ago!"

"Page not found!"

"Look harder!"

"Page not found!"

If Ben wasn't so sure of his firewalls, he'd think his computer was possessed.

Fixer-Uppers is open. And uninformed.

Vida had just processed a shipment of roses she found absolutely delightful, so much so they inspired a sale. "Half price for your purchase today if you're from the 60s or the 70s," a new sign in the window read.

Mary wasn't sure what had gotten into Gunther. He was sitting in front of the lobby television, watching a Manchester United match and sobbing about how much he missed Nessa. Mary figured it was just best to leave the chef alone.

Dolf had a date.

A date. A date. A... ...he hadn't gotten nervous when he'd spoken to Cally earlier this week, but that had been normal. At the reserves. Which was normal. Unlike this, with him wearing... his best sweater (he didn't exactly have many) and jeans, dithering outside of the restaurant about ten minutes early because he was afraid he'd miss her or something.

But. Thai food. Nice girl that he could talk to. That... would end well, right? And it wasn't like they hadn't been talking for ages before anyway, and...

He really needed to stop thinking, or he was going to drive himself insane.

[[ dolf is here for one, but taste of thai is open as always ]]

Hope had been doing a lot of thinking lately, about a lot of things. She wasn't sure what had prompted it, or even if anything had. This was probably why she was so glad it was her day at the shop -- because when she was there, she had to focus on everything but thinking about her own stuff.

Okay, so really she was just annoying Apu by throwing spitballs at him. (Mature, she was not.) It still counted!

Well, okay, no. But it was fun, dammit.

Jessica was pouring over her Bartender's Guide again, but this time she was abusing the bar's supplies to practicing mixing up drinks with the dirtiest names she could find.

Tino was not amused.
