Bod wasn't at work today. He'd taken an impromptu trip to Kansas to be with Kate a few days earlier and hadn't returned yet. He'd called to notify the staff of his impending absence which meant they were ready to cover his shift for him. The food was cooking, the counters, tables, chairs and stools were cleaned and Bod was barely missed!

Vida had a bouquet for Father's Day named "Dad is Great." This in itself was not very newsworthy, but it had earwormed Vida with a classic comedy skit. And she was also craving chocolate cake as well, but trying to refrain from indulging. She had to maintain her girlish figure, after all.

Covent Garden Flowers

Vida Boheme, prop.
Fresh flowers from nosegays to bouquets!

One minute a kitty was pacing the floor at Pixie Dust, complaining vocally about how much she wanted a drink and a cigarette and contemplating shredding some of the clothes to make herself feel better. The next, Jenny Sparks was standing in the middle of the room naked.

Well, at least she was already in a clothing shop, although it appeared she'd opted to delay covering herself in favor of getting her nicotine fix...

Pixie Dust is open. She'll probably be clothed by the time you get there.

It wasn't raining, which could be a problem for Harper. She still had tons of rain ponchos left over. Even with cutting the price down to $1 apiece, they were not moving.

Most people would have given up and shoved the cases of ponchos into the stock room for a rainy day. Not Harper. She thought she could make the ponchos a bit more fashionable with some paint and accessories. Who could resist a poncho with painted flowers and sequins? Better question... who else other than Harper would buy an embellished rain poncho?

Things Reborn was open, and there were plenty of other deals on good merchandise in the store.

Jessica had found a "What vampire clan are you" quiz online, and was currently sitting at the bar with her laptop, taking it just to see what it would say. Some of the questions were really dumb, though. "If you were on fire, how would you react?" She was glad there was an option for "What do you mean if I was on fire how would I react?! I'm on fire! Lets see um...screaming, running, stop drop and roll...I'M ON FREAKING FIRE! What kinda question is that?"

She ended up somehow getting the aggressive, violent clan. "Well, that doesn't make any sense," she muttered to herself, and promptly took the test again, this time picking answers to get the power-loving rulers clan. Still not quite right, but better.
