Zayne made sure the help wanted sign was prominently displayed by the entrance before settling in at the host stand. It was still a little weird to him to have a job where nobody had attacked him in a week, but he wasn't exactly complaining. Especially since as soon as he did, something would probably attack him.

With the trouble of last week now over, Fraser had the door to the apartments open and was letting the fresh air filter in. Dief was running around outside, chasing something or other while Fraser sat behind the desk, getting caught up on some paperwork.

Later, he thought about asking Robin to actually go into the theme park since he'd never been. He already knew he'd look completely out of place but he wanted to take advantage while he could.

Jack only had two weeks of this job left, after the current one. And his focus for much of the summer had, sadly, been a bit lacking.

Therefore, he was hip-deep in case files today, trying to document all the things he should have documented by the end of last month. It wouldn't do to come to the end of the summer with no results.

[OOC: Open law office!]

Ramona didn't do it often, but girl knew how to throw a party. Granted, at the age of seventeen, she hadn't been to a ton of college parties, but she'd been to enough to emulate them effectively.

She'd gotten to the beach early enough to set up a couple beer pong tables, along with one for flip cup. There were several kegs of (really, really cheap -- might as well go for the full college draw here) beer, and nearby those, she'd placed an assortment of liquors and mixers. There was no bartender or anything for this party -- not only to fit with the theme, but also because Ramona was cheap and practical. See also the traditional red party cups she'd gotten for their drinks!

There were, however, tiki torches and a bonfire, and she'd sprung for festive little umbrellas to go in the drinks. Ramona hadn't really wanted to go totally tropical for this thing, but she'd dressed relatively beachy for her -- she was wearing a sundress, at least, over her swimsuit, and she had a little white flower in her blue hair.

She was determined to make sure Kate didn't miss any of that vital college experience. Because clearly, this was the important stuff.

[up early for sp and to accommodate time zones since SOME people live in like the north pole or whatever! all students (except topher) are welcome!]

Millie was here, restocking shelves and telling Proudfoot about her trip across the causeway to Disneyland.

Helen was here, taking particularly good care of the horses and thinking about how little time she had left on the island and just what might happen next.

"Welcome back!" Jack said. "Today's special ingredients do not include squirrel, alot or deer, if any of you were worried."

Well, they probably were now.

"You know how this works by now--20 minutes for your appetizer, 30 minutes for your entree, and 30 for your dessert course. Open your baskets and begin!"

It seemed like most of the kids on the island were at some party, which left Chuck to drink in peace for the most part. He didn't even feel old because of that. Really. Didn't feel old at all.

Oh god he was so old.
