The Perk [Wednesday]

Savannah was in the Perk with the largest mocha frappaccino that she could order. On the table in front of her was a listing of housing located on Fandom. She couldn't live in her brother and sister-in-law's guest room forever. And, since they wouldn't let her pay rent, it didn't really feel like it was hers in any sense of the word. (Something she would never ever tell Sean.)

So, here she was, caffeine in hand and looking for houses, apartments or rooms in houses to rent. She wasn't sure she necessarily wanted to live alone, but she needed some place that she could call at least part of her own. Maybe she should talk to Angela about an artsy place together?

Book Haven [7/11]

Cassidy arrived at work after her class was over -- and after she had changed back into her normal clothes.

Now that she was at work, there was a pot of tea on the counter and she was organizing shelves and displays. After that, she would be looking at book lists on the internet to see if there was anything that she should let Millie know they needed for their inventory.

When she came across the description of a certain best selling trilogy, she gasped and her eyes widened. That probably wouldn't do for Book Haven ... but maybe she could let Emma know about it and they could order it for Dite's?

She quickly went to the next page before her curiosity could get the better of her.

Book Haven was open and Cassidy was blushing.

Cafe Luke's, Wednesday

It hadn't taken Lion-o very long to feel settled again in Fandom. The heat didn't even bother him since temperatures on old Thundera were often higher. So he couldn't quite understand why the rest of the staff at Luke's wanted to hang around in the walk-in fridge. "Come on, you guys! The customers are out here," Lion-o protested in vain.

The Perk, Wednesday Afternoon

So in contrast to her normal efforts to go outside as rarely as possible, April had actually had plans to leave the house yesterday. Trouble was, she had spent almost the entirety of yesterday asleep, and the time that she was awake, she'd been very wrapped up in the violent video games she was playing. So no, she hadn't quite managed to leave the house.

Today, though! Today she had. And she was pretty proud of herself for it, even if she'd maybe showed up a few hours earlier than she'd intended. But that was fine. With her laptop open to a violent video game on the table in front of her, she sipped her coffee and occasionally antagonized the baristas to pass the time.

It was shaping up to be a good day. Not as good as yesterday, with all the sleeping and gaming, but pretty good.

Caritas- Wednesday

The zombie drummer's left arm kept flying off.

Jaye, of course, totally refused to do anything about it, because she didn't get paid enough to reattach zombie parts. And after the third time, Tino was refusing to do it anymore and so the zombie drummer was just going to have to work without one arm tonight. So anyone who was paying attention to the music tonight might notice that the beat sounded juuuust a little off.

For some reason.

It was a peaceful day at the shop, which meant that Alice had plucked a book from the shelves and was sitting behind the counter, reading it contently.

She probably should've been working on her plans for what she was going to do when she went home, but she figured she had weeks to get there anyway, she might as well enjoy this moment while it lasted.

Shira was, for once, not at all busy at the shop. With anything. Which had led to her dusting every single surface in the place just to keep busy.

Any customers might have to worry about her dusting them.

So it had been a...not great set of news from Jaina's universe, which was why his grandfater was on his way there and Ben was in the ice cream shop.

With a cousin who was currently shaped like a kitten.

"I'm telling you now," Ben told Anakin the kitten, "if you end up covered in whipped cream, you're on your own."

Anakin completely ignored him, immersed as he was (literally) in a bowl of ice cream.
