Elle was doing what she did best -- pretend life was absolutely freakin' normal, nothing to worry about, nothing at all. Except she wasn't doing very well at it today. Instead, she was trying to pretend and failing miserably, worrying about a whole bunch of things that really boiled down to the fact that she had some people she was pretty damn sure would hate her forever because of what she'd done in the alternate universe.

But she was getting better at repressing things, so she shoved all the negative feels down and went about her business at the store.

Which really consisted of obsessive rearranging of displays. Summer would probably think she'd lost it if she came in.

Kenzi put up a sign.

1/2 off for all former Detainees
1/2 off for all former brainwashed
1/2 off for the formerly evil

To say that Jonothon was still somewhat out of sorts since the island had reverted back to normal on Sunday would be something of an understatement. Most of the week, he'd spent more or less just going through the motions. He'd checked in with the New Warriors, at least, let them know that he was still alive and that his being missing all last week was one of those crazy Time Travel Things That We Don't Talk About, and they'd all been more or less understanding, just so long as he got his head back onto his shoulders right before jumping back into the line of fire along with them again.

That had worked out well enough, really.

Tonight, he was finally trying to buck those motions that he'd been going through. He wasn't doing anything huge, or anything particularly shocking, but he was outside for a change, sitting in front of The Boards and idly tuning an acoustic guitar that he'd found buried under a stack of props in the back room. He wasn't busking, not really. He just needed to see the bustle of people on the street, and have the open sky overhead. Hiding himself away in his room hadn't done him a hell of a lot of good, after a week in detention.

Millie was back from, well, she wasn't entirely sure where. She didn't seem to have existed at all last week, which had bothered her enough that she'd taken a short trip home to see everyone.

She was feeling much better today as she unpacked books and settled in to read one of the most promising looking new ones after lunch.
