"If anyone ever wondered how many squirrels can ride on a cat, it's 48,071," one of the droids informed Toby upon his arrival.

"What?"

"To seduce homeowners, sit outside the window and open your mouth slightly,"

"I'm just going to... go over here now," Toby decided, fleeing to the kitchen.

"What a relief it is to be able to touch and handle the cooking utensils without gloves and without feeling," the droid who was overseeing the cooking announced.

It was gonna be a long day. A day without specials, because frankly, Toby was too busy trying to figure out if the droids were speaking in some sort of elaborate code.

Well, it had finally happened: Kitty didn't really care about the Olympics anymore.

There was a silent battle raging behind the bar between Tino, who apparently was still into track and field or rhythm gymnastics or something and kept turning it on in the back room, and Kitty, who kept changing it to anything else.

It was Friday night and things at the bar were thrilling, obviously.

Eric was in his usual spot in the VIP section ignoring Tiny, who seemed weirdly upbeat today.

You know, for Tiny.

If Tiny had gotten laid last night, Eric had decided, he just didn't want to know.

At all.

Ever.

It'd be easier to stop thinking about it if the DJ wasn't playing Marvin Gaye.

Eric would be grateful if you came in and distracted him. Not enough to cut you a break on your drink, but still. Grateful.
