Stiles was self-aware enough to know that this so-called date with Kate was just her being nice to him, but he really didn't care about that too much. Kate was nice and Stiles liked talking to her, even if he hadn't quite gotten past the fact that she had Allison's face. So he wasn't thinking of this as anything more than just spending time with someone platonically and just happening to call it a date.

If this didn't end in disaster Stiles could finally say he had a date that went well. That there was a one in three chance that you wouldn't end up in the hospital if you went out with him. That was enough of a reason to try to make this work.

Today, Stark Industries featured knitting needles in the door, blue toxic-looking gel congealed in a few out-of-the-way workbench corners, and an AI -- Jarvis, not Victor -- who had decided the time was right for a "100 Bottles of WD-40 on the Wall" sing-along. Though Victor wondered if it was technically a sing-along if he, er, wasn't singing along. At all. No matter how often Jarvis suggested it.

He turned up Frank Ocean extra-loud on his headphones and settled in to do some minor hacking.

Fandom High Lacrosse Club, The Park, Tuesday After Classes

Yes, the lacrosse club were braving the park again. No, there wasn't going to be any hot chocolate because Jackson wasn't Stiles and therefore didn't have the same kind of consideration for anyone else's comfort. In fact, with how uncomfortable he himself felt a lot of the time, lately, it was almost surprising he wasn't putting them in a freezing simulation right now.
