One of the cooks seemed really upset about the imminent end of summer, so she insisted on making what she termed 'milkshake shots.' Though the term was quite self-explanatory, she went on to explain what she felt was genuine culinary innovation in great detail, including identifying the manufacturer of the shot glasses she was using. If she had her way, the sign out front would be a paragraph-long breakdown of each of the flavors they were offering. Gert, however, opted to be more concise.

After his chat with Atton yesterday, Flick was pretty determined not to give off any brooding vibes again. Not for awhile, at least. He'd give it a week or so before he was comfortable with brooding for a public audience.

Today, he was without classes so today, he was in town. And today, while in town, he was pretty determined to come back with a few things that were not his. There were tons of oblivious people in this town who wouldn't realize that a teenager bumping into them or distracting them meant they were going to lose some important belonging whether it be a phone or a wallet or a piece of jewelry.

This really worked better when he could wear a coat or something to slip his winnings in but it was still too hot for that. So, he'd gone with a hoodie that still felt too hot but it had pockets. He was leaning against the corner of the Kwik Stop, looking like some loitering teenager. If he'd smoked, it would have made him look like he was attempting to imitate Jay and Silent Bob look even more convincing but smoking was gross.

So, he was just going to stand there and wait. He'd bought some water from the Kwik Stop and was taking a few drinks from the bottle every so often. Even thieves needed sustenance.

[Open! If you want him to try and nick something from you, definitely let me know. If you wanna catch him, that's cool too though he's an excellent pickpocket. If you wanna just talk, of course that's fine too!]

It'd been a while since Kenzi made the zombies sing what she wanted. So Communism is Magic was just the beginning.

Not that she believed the song at all, but it amused her.

Tino was down at the other end of the bar, because hey! Butane lighter!

As usual when Hanna was at work, she made sure all of the displays were in order. After rearranging one of the mannequin's outfits, she waited behind the counter for anyone who might need her help. During slow moments, she was having a text message conversation with Spencer about college gossip.

It was nice that, for the first time in awhile, her texts didn't consist of threats and blackmail.

Jack was mystified by a sudden change to the liquor collection tonight. He hadn't thought pickle vodka was completely awful ... but that didn't mean he needed three dozen bottles of it.

For that matter, he wasn't overly jazzed by the thought of bubble gum vodka, even if Tiny swore it was great with pineapple juice. And ketchup vodka was just -- it had to be a joke, didn't it?

He made a sign for the front of the club --

Special: Make up a flavoured vodka drink, get 2-for-1!

And retreated behind the bar. Someone in town had to be creative, didn't they?

[OOC: Open club, no OCD.]

A couple of new dogs that had arrived today were fighting, and April was annoyed, because that meant every dog in the place felt the need to bark about it.

What was even worse was that the barking continued when the dogs' fighting evolved into, uh, more playful activities. April thought it was the canine equivalent of cheering them on, maybe, but either way, it was weird. Enough was enough. She fished around in her desk for her headphones.

After his class with Jack, Cade grabbed a few (okay, five. Shut up, he was a teenage boy) burgers from Mooby's and headed to the shop.

He spent a few minutes while he gobbled his lunch down wondering if he should text rude things to his grandfathers, then decided against it in favor of texting rude things to Bantha.

Cade was a classy, classy kid.
