It got boring staying inside your room for too long. Sure, Jim was a pro at entertaining himself but he also got bored easily and got curious even easier. There was crap going on around the island and he'd been hearing a rhyming voice for awhile now and staying inside his room just wasn't an attractive option even if it was cold out there.

That was okay, he could deal with cold. It just meant bundling up in various layers before heading out. He wasn't usually up this early and was kind of surprised how quiet it seemed right now. He could almost believe this was another sleepy town in the middle of bumfuck Iowa where nothing happened. He knew the truth but while he took a walk through the park, he could almost believe this place was normal and boring.

It was probably a good thing it wasn't. He'd probably get bored of that after awhile and take off. Boring and normal were just not good matches for Jim Kirk.

[Open place and post. Possible SP later in the afternoon when I head to dinner with my mom! ETA: And SP is about to commence! I will return all tags ASAP!]

Momoko had made the decision late last night that she was going to spend today exploring the sewers for clues to this weirdness.

This is why she was standing in front of an entrance to the sewers.

She hadn't gone into the sewers because... well... sewers. Ew.

She knew she had to, but give her a moment. She was totally sure that it wasn't going to be like the sewers involved in that case back in Saitama. In fact, she was convinced it was going to look much different...

Ew.

She'd sent some text messages, hoping for some company, but wasn't sure if anyone was coming. he was going to stand here and wait a bit more, and enjoy being clean and un-grossed-out for a few more minutes, okay?

[Open for anyone... And if you think you got a text, sure! It was late, numbers are small! Come on and explore... with no results!]

Zoe had told Jamie that he could put together a message to the school board in order to prevent the future Faandom from becoming a dystopia.

Zoe was probably going to regret that decision.

For now it meant that Jamie and his duplicates had set up a makeshift stage and procured a video camera for the occasion.

As he waited for his fellow campfire members to show up, Jamie settled down to drink his soy latte. He wasn't sure why he was drinking a soy latte but for some reason it seemed appropriate.

[For the campfire members and anyone else who wants to witness a potential train wreck.]

Sparkle had actually decided to show up to work today! This was a big accomplishment for him, what with the fact that just listening to the radio every morning had him paranoid and on-edge. Not that staying in his room was going to change anything if the island's weirdness decided to finally catch up to him, no, but there was that little bit of brain that said staying in was safer. Especially since he hadn't changed yet.

... He hadn't, right?

Oh, god. That was going to bug him all day, now. Instead of actually getting any work done, he was downloading podcasts of the morning news over the past few weeks, because he was bound and determined to prove that he was Original Flavour Sparkle, thank you.

"Parents!?"

If anyone needed him, he was going to be in the back room, burning things.

[Open, OCD-free!]

After filming a presentation to be sent to the School Board to warn them of the future, Jamie seriously needed a stiff drink.

Only to find that Caritas wasn't open. Jamie wasn't having any of that...

So he opened Caritas and started to do his best liquor juggling routine a-la Tom Cruise to entertain the customers.

Tino who just happened to be doing inventory that night was not amused. And was also writing a note to Kitty on why he was not cleaning that mess up.

[Caritas hijacked with permission!]
