Celia was quite recovered from the weekend physically, of course -- that much use of her magic over that long a span of time had left her exhausted, but it was nothing that a day of rest and an absurd amount of coffee couldn't fix.

No, physically speaking, she was fine. Emotionally, however, was another story entirely. She wasn't sure how she was going to begin to make up for the horrors she'd inflicted on her friends, or what was even to be done for it. It hadn't been her, per se, doing the inflicting, but the guilt was there all the same.

There was really only one thing for it. And that was to eat nearly all of the Skittles that Elsa had so thoughtfully provided in those dishes.

She still didn't feel better, many small and brightly-colored candies later, but at least she'd been distracted for awhile. (And she made sure to refill the dishes before she left. She was guilt-ridden, not a savage.)

Evan frowned as he stared at the letter in his hands, turning it over once, twice. It was addressed to him from the headmaster of the Jean Grey School, and he'd gotten it this morning, much to his chagrin.

He still hadn't opened the envelope. He was maybe putting that off, a little.

So, over the course of the day, the letter had been tucked into Evan's pocket and pulled out again two, three, fifteen times. He still didn't have it in him to read it. He was pointedly ignoring anything that came courtesy of Logan, after the whole Savage Lands... thing.

Even if it was stamped 'urgent.' Even if the longer he put off opening it, the more he felt awful about it.

Even if all those things.

There were books to put away. Evan was going to do that, instead.

Was it strange to be glad the weekend was over because it was time to go back to work? Probably. Éponine had no idea, but she suspected it probably was.

Elsewhere, anyway. Fandom Georg might be an outlier adn should not be counted an exception.

Éponine was certainly glad to be back at work this week, that was for certain, and glad that it was particularly busy today. Someone on the island had apparently developed quite the eBay addiction, judging from the several dozen packages of varying size and . . . lumpiness (she wasn't asking, but she wanted to) that had been in yesterday's mail, and the several dozen more that were in today's. It meant more than one trip to get them all taken care of, because no one would let her drive the golf cart.

Which was probably prudent.

[OOC: Open, no OCD today! I am now petitioning for Fandom Georg to be, like, the name of one of the zombie band's CDs or something.]

Irene was feeling better than she had over the weekend -- she was still a little touch-and-go with food, and she was staying quite far away from tea for the time being, but she at least looked better.

Or, at least she had. When she'd tried to leave the flat in a white suit and Louboutins and had seen that it was...raining fish, she'd turned heel and gone back inside to change into (designer) jeans and (designer) tennis shoes. And to grab an umbrella. Ick.

It probably said something about her that she wasn't exceptionally surprised by this turn of events.

But at least she had her makeup done. And at least she'd had her first real, strange experience, here. It was like a rite of passage! Like losing her Fandom virginity! (The rain of fish would have rather made a worse story for her first time, she thought.)

When she finally arrived at the shop and had shaken off the disgusting little fishies on her umbrella, she placed a sign neatly in the window.

Because if there was anything Irene knew definitively, it was that when shit hit the fan, people generally had a lot of sex afterwards.

Mary was taking a break from dealing with her latest special events client (not to mention her only special events client) to look out the lobby window and watch the anchovies fall from the sky. She was regretting her decision to help plan her friend Polly's wedding. The woman demanded more personal attention than any bridezilla Mary had dealt with before. She had gone back and forth to Las Vegas so many times that she was starting to lose track of where she was. Even now, as she watched it rain fish on the island, all Mary could think about was whether the tent she ordered for the reception would hold up to the elements. Not that it was likely to rain in Las Vegas…

Kitty didn't mind rain much, aside from the potential of making her hair poof out when it dried, so the reason she had an umbrella was basically for the days it rained weird things in Fandom. Like today. Anchovies hitting your head was probably harmless but no one wanted to be hit with fish. Hopefully.

She did consider doing a little "Singing In the Fish" routine with her umbrella but she hadn't had quite enough caffeine for that today.

Anyway, she was at work and happy to serve anyone in need of drinks or conversation. Or a place indoors where it wasn't raining sealife.
