Considering the fact that he was teaching now, Hatter figured he ought to at least have some plans for the class. Winging it just seemed like it'd be more trouble than fun. Still, maybe a class or two he'd just decide on five minutes beforehand. Right now, he was jotting down a few notes in messy scrawl while he sipped his tea.

It was a new year, and it felt like it was time for something new for Dani. So after going through her regular chores, she put the horses out in the paddock and got settled in the office with her laptop. She had some online shopping to do for some new boots, new gloves, a new jacket, maybe some new dresses…

The Gig was open, and it would be good for Dani's wallet if her shopping was interrupted by paying customers.

If you asked the kitchen staff, Eliot was being particularly insufferable about the state of the kitchen, today. If you asked Eliot, he was absolutely not insufferable and also definitely not nervous about teaching his first ever actual class that wasn't part of a con tomorrow shut up.

So, you know, it was really pleasant in the diner, today.

Given that she had to teach tomorrow (though at least this class was much less likely to inspire mortification in her students), and that they were in dire need of employees who weren't just herself and Sparkle, Irene actually went in and opened up the shop today. Inventory went fairly quickly, as usual, as did the bookkeeping, and when those were done, she placed a neatly-written sign in the window.

And with that done, she had all the time in the world to start squirreling away the holiday stock. No one needed Sexy Santa-themed anything in January, after all. (Unless that was your kink, in which case Irene certainly wasn't going to judge.)
