futurespacemom: (Master Kiwiiks)
[personal profile] futurespacemom
The currents of the Force were no less strange today, but Master Kiwiiks had patience, and she was determined to learn them and to learn what was going on.

So today, she had taken the lightsaber she found and gone out to the green space here to meditate and do katas. The feline and other animal had come with her, and were running about. Well, the brightly colored one was running about; the feline was curled up in a grumpy sort of nap.

Galen hadn't gone far yesterday, too busy exploring and learning about the home he'd woken up in. But today there were still no signs of Imperial guardians, and he was determined to explore a little further. Maybe he could, if not escape, at least get word out as he'd planned.

He was somewhat sidetracked by the smell of something very like caf, and ended up in a store where, after a bit of mutual misunderstanding, the young lady behind the counter had taken pity on the fact he apparently had no local currency and given him a paper cup of something she called coffee. It was close enough to caf, anyway.

So now he was standing outside the shop and sipping that, trying to figure out what his next move should be.

Something was...moving. Out in the water. Flickers of shadows under the waves, and glimpses of something red, glowing, watching before the current shifted and it was gone again.

There were more people out and about than usual, more sunshine, and even the water tasted Different. It was Interesting, and she liked Interesting. She wasn't hungry, yet, but but there was a fine line between curiosity and snack-time.

[OOC: Open for all your murderfish interaction & sighting needs!]

The Master of the Straits floated in the water, feeling the currents of the sea and wind. The fish were telling him grave stories about a creature in the depths. It was not a shark nor anything else natural. Was Raziel stirring in his depths? He cupped water in his hands and blew on the surface; it shimmered and silvered into a mirror's shine. But even peering into the Water Mirror, he could see no sign of it.

Well. He might look into it more later did the issue continue. For now, though, he was looking longingly at the land.

rebelseekspizza: (au dante: mask)
[personal profile] rebelseekspizza
Dante hadn't been-- surprised to find himself here, or disoriented. It was Fandom, and even in the island's current state of decline, it was still prone to its tricks.

No, the problem was that he wasn't sure what to do with himself.

After spending most of Saturday milling around, vaguely hoping to bump into anyone he recognized, mostly wishing not to run into anyone at all, he found himself pulled back to this place. The church was in a decidedly better state than he remembered, for sure, but its pews and tower still made a home, of a kind.

And you still got a perfect view from the roof.

Which was where Dante currently was: sitting near the front of the church's roof, keeping an eye on the people of Fandom. A little like normal, except not at all.

trigons_child: (Bombshell!Raven worried)
[personal profile] trigons_child
Anyone who knew Raven would probably be very surprised by her appearance. She looked mostly the same, only younger...except for the little horns sprouting from her head. And then there was the matter of her clothing. She was wearing a cape, long gloves, a leotard, and thigh-high fishnet stockings. It was probably safe to say this wasn't the Raven you were accustomed to.

This Raven was very confused as to how she'd ended up in Fandom. She'd run away from Atlantis with Harley and Ivy so she could find her father, but she had no idea where she was now or how she'd gotten there. Had she fallen into some sort of trap from the Joker's Daughter? She'd spent the first day hiding and trying to find a way home, but today, magic at the ready, she cautiously explored this strange place.

[Raven is Raven from DC Bombshells.]

Sparkleface was having a beautiful day! Sure, she hadn't been able to find Butterbean at all yesterday or today, and when she'd wandered into the deeeep and spooooky woods, she'd found to her dismay that the trees weren't lollipops or cotton candy. They weren't even peppermint bark. They were just bark. She had made a point to tell the nice deer on her way back into town that they probably didn't want to lick them until they got that all sorted out. The deer hadn't even thanked her, but they had seemed pretty interested in everything she had to say, so she'd kept chatting them up all night.

And now... well, she wasn't sure what she was doing in this store, really. She'd found her way in, noticing some pretty rainbow things in the window, and now...

... she was stuck and couldn't get the door back open.

But it was still a beautiful day! Even if this place didn't seem to stock clothing for pegasi. She'd have to leave a politely-worded note for whoever ran the shop before she left. If she ever figured out how.

[OOC: Open! Sparkle is Sparkleface from TTG because this is the only way I'm ever gonna play a character I animated, alrighty-o.]

Since Clint was actually in his right mind this weekend, he decided it might be a good idea to check on the gym and make sure everything was okay. Thankfully, he was just missing some employees, who he figured didn't realize what they were supposed to be doing.

Once he knew who was missing, he settled in at the main desk, cranked up some music on his iPod, and started going through the mail. The pile had gotten dangerously high from days of him ignoring it all.
