You know, the great thing about Sundays normally being about pancakes was that Luke's was completely equipped for this sort of weekend already. Especially since, fortunately, the cook was also an adult. Kanan would have hated to have to evict anybody from the kitchen for the sake of safety today, especially since he wanted to be out front where all the interesting stuff was bound to happen.

Today's Specials:
Pancakes - Choose Your Own Toppings!
French Fries and Ketchup
Milk and Cookies

If anybody needed Kanan, he was the guy looking eminently amused, leaning against the counter and eating fries.

[OOC: Open, though probably SP. I'm starting a six-day project at work today, and don't know if DW is locked out at this studio, but it's certainly going to be crunch week on a show I don't know, so...]

Jono's husband was a child again, so he really didn't need to come into the Groovy Tunes to see that most of his stock had been turned into toy instruments in order to get the picture. But it certainly helped cement the whole thing in his head, yes.

And to add insult to injury, every time he turned on the stereo, it insisted on playing the Kidz Bop covers of whatever was on the radio. Even if they were songs that had never had covers. It took him a good hour of pleading before he gave up on the stereo entirely, settled down with a small toy piano, and started to poke at it to see if he could make actual music happen with that, instead.

[OOC: Same probable SP warnings are gonna apply all across the board, of course, but open!]

Sparkle had that slightly disgruntled look on his face that he got whenever he recovered from spending a week as a dog. Why a dog? He was clearly a cat person, after all, though he suspected it was at least in part the island making some kind of statement about his personality.

In which case, he sort of wanted to kick the island in the nuts. Or the lady-nuts. Or the... whatever an island's equivalent was. Jerk island. Now he had to spend like half his shift texting classmates on the mainland and asking if they could type up their notes and catch him up on what homework he missed.

At least he was in a good place for sewing.

He was also fairly oblivious about the overabundance of children today. So far. Lucky Sparkle!

[Open, SP, I totally failed at figuring out weetiny icons for all my pups this week can you tell?]

From his perspective, he'd only existed for a day or so, and thus Liam didn't know much about being a child, really. But he did know that children were supposed to play, and so he'd found his way to the park. And the park had a playground.

Some of the equipment looked as if it needed two or more people to operate it, so he figured he ought to skip those and start with something he could do by himself, like the swings.

This... wasn't too bad, actually. After he got the hang of it, he even managed to get a decent rhythm going. He could see why something like this might be considered 'fun'.

[ooc: open park is open!]

Octavia knew she probably shouldn't have been out on her own. But Bellamy had said this place wasn't like the Ark and that she was safe here! She didn't need to hide. There wasn't even a crawlspace under the floor to hide in.

So she'd snuck out while her brother had still been sleeping. He'd probably forgive her, right? She wanted to see the world and he wanted her to see the world too, so she'd be fine!

Still, whenever she saw a stranger on the street – and everyone was a stranger to a girl who'd only ever been around her mother and brother – she had to fight the urge to hide. A couple of times, the urge won out, and she ducked into an alleyway to wait for the people to pass. But for the most part, she was far too mesmerized by shop windows and open air and being on the Ground to get scared.

This was amazing.

[ooc: Open! Feel free to catch her either hopping along or ducking to hide in an alley, your choice.]

Verity had woken up alone in a roomful of Nerf guns and rubber knives. This was less weird than it sounded; war games weren't exactly uncommon for the Price household. She'd spent all yesterday booby-trapping the apartment in case anyone managed to find her--Antimony was practically still a baby, but she was still really good at getting into places--but when no one showed up overnight, Verity realized she was supposed to go on the offensive.

So today she'd spent the morning making weapon caches in various places. This way, if she had to cut and run and leave her weapons behind, she could rearm herself somewhere else. The warehouse district was filled with large, spooky buildings that had lots of tiny hiding places, so she'd declared that her forward base and had gotten then all set up. Now she was arming herself with as many Nerf guns as she could comfortably carry and was setting out to declare herself winner of the Great Nerf War!

If you weren't a player you were a pawn!

[Open for SP for anyone! Feel free to find Nerf guns and fight back.]
