Octavia's stop to play the drums in the music shop last weekend had left Jono feeling... well... a little curious, actually. He'd been around drummers before. Hell, back when he still had George as his roommate, he'd shamelessly encouraged her to pick up a drum set. And there really was a limited number of instruments that he could pick up and try out, for obvious reasons. The drums was one of the few on the list.

So today he had the stereo on, playing some rock songs, and he was going to attempt to drum along.

... It was not as easy as it looked. But he was going to stubborn his way through this, damn it.

The sewing machines were going nonstop at the Demon Marcus today. Not that Sparkle was doing tailoring or anything, no. It was just that he had an assignment due Wednesday, and needed to have his 'Big Bad Wolf' costume pieces finished in time to present for his class on the mainland by then.

He was fortunate that he ran a place that had all sorts of useful components for costuming. He wasn't sure what the hell he would be doing right now otherwise.

... No, that wasn't true.

It would probably involve theft somehow.

Good thing it wasn't coming to that, right?

"Peppermint cotton candy pancakes," Kanan said dubiously.

The cook shrugged. Apparently they had a lot of the sugary stuff left over from yesterday. They had to use it somehow.

Kanan figured he'd let it slide. Just this once. At least nobody was making them kiss fish today.
