Caritas- Tuesday

Kitty typically had bad luck with this sort of thing. There's been the time she'd been in the flooded store with a shark, and then there's been the sharkicane-related savage to Caritas that had ended in a renovation and a lot of lies to the insurance company. (You explain the shark.) So shes exkected the worst here yesterday until she found that at least the inside of the bar was totally dry.

As for getting in without letting water in... In case anyone still made it out here, there was a sign on the door.

Furricane Animal Shelter, Tuesday

Okay... so things were a little wet. Apparently wet enough that the name of the shelter had once again changed at some point, though Zack still wasn't actually aware of that fact. Yesterday had been a day of discovery, realizing that the upstairs apartment had been re-purposed to house the non-aquatic animals and the main floor was up to his waist in water, though the fish and frogs and snails and little shrimps and turtles and even a few random ducks all seemed to be completely happy with that arrangement. He supposed Sidon would be too, for that matter. After returning some texts to Iris last night, he went downstairs to hang a hopefully waterproof sign.

And then, after a few minutes of deliberation, he added, Chickens are still on the roof in sharpie.

All Around Fandom; Most of the Day, Tuesday [05/21].

With the exception of a few classes he needed to be in, Sidon was feeling incredibly thrilled to do mostly the same thing he did yesterday, which was to actually get out there and enjoy the fact that the island had been flooded and it made for some excellent and interesting swimming in most places. Sure, he had to be careful to avoid the sharks and he tried his very best to not get in the way of any of the gondaliers, and he did feel terribly bad about all of the buildings that seemed to have suffered from the wrath of so much water, but...he wasn't going to feel so bad that he wasn't going to take advantage of it while he could!

And though the gondaliers were doing a marvelous job, truly, he certainly felt he could be of service in helping people get around easier, too, should they need it. He could fetch submerged things for people with ease, he could check on things underneath the water, there was...really a wide range of things he probably hadn't even thought of that he could be of service for, so he was certainly planning on spending his day making sure he was available should anyone need him, enjoying the waters and the exciting new avenues to epxlore in the meantime.

For the sake of his fellow Fandomites, he certainly hoped this was all temporary, but he would be lying if he said there wasn't a little part of him that wouldn't mind if this turned out to be a permanent feature.

Luke's hadn't gotten submerged, but it had gotten a little... swampier. And the staff, well, they had gone all out.
