Astrid had sort of been feeling like she was holding her breath all weekend, even with the reassurance she'd gotten from her current case worker that Ingrid showing up would be next to impossible. 'Next to impossible' wasn't any sort of guarantee, though, especially not in a place like this, so she'd kept herself mostly in her room, working on some watercolors, as if putting herself out there would have been equal to opening herself up to fate and bad luck.

But by Tuesday, things felt pretty safe, and she could breathe again, which was nice, because all the flowers today decided to smell comfortingly of vanilla and cinnamon and apple cider, which was why a lot of the floral arrangements coming from Astrid's hands that day were distinctly autumnal in appearance, and she started to wonder if maybe she should think about selling some of her clothes from Claire so she could have a little more money to afford something a little more appropriate for East Coast winters than her current wardrobe would support.

Tisarwat was really wondering when she'd ever get used to the atmosphere or the atomospheric pressure or whatever it was about this planet that seemed to just press in on her sometimes and make her feel these terrible migraines that were convenient excuses for inactivity left her out of commission for days, because she was definitely not a fan, and you'd think by now she'd have been able to acclimate to Earth so much better. But maybe she shouldn't be too terribly surprised. Her body always had been stubborn against new elements, and at least whatever kept striking her down on this planet wasn't nearly as bad as when her body was trying to reject Anaander Mianaai's implant...or what it had gone through once that implant was removed.

But she was feeling marginally better by the time her Tuesday shift at the music shop rolled around, so there was at least that, even if she was a little upset that she didnt' get the chance to enjoy all the visitors on the island over the last weekend.

But at least she didn't get another visitor like that last time. She would definitely not have been able to handle another Presger translator, even if she had been feeling well.

So it would be a quiet, chill day at the store while Tisarwat mostly just drank tea and tried to get back on her feet again.

Groovy Tunes is open!

So, apparently Tino had gotten a gremlin bite.

So, apparently this meant he was going to spend tonight onstage, thinking he was the office moose.

Soooo it had taken Kitty a very long time to figure out that that's what he was doing and that it was gremlin-related and he wasn't just being weird.

So Kitty was just going to work and pretend this wasn't happening.

Steve was at the station, pushing around paperwork about Diego's guest for the weekend and ignoring how Ralph and Calvin were trying to decide if Klaus had been really serious in any of the flirting he'd engaged in while locked up.

Steve was overwhelmingly grateful that his sister Mary hadn't managed to spend any of her weekend in jail, too--she had that kind of complete lack of impulse control luck--and so that gratitude extended to doing the paperwork so Diego didn't have to.

Of course, Steve was terrible at doing paperwork, so Danny was going to have to redo it tomorrow, but it was thought that counted, right?

The Troopers were just grateful Steve hadn't made them cliff dive or join a triathlon today, so they left him to it.

[OOC: Of course I didn't write this yesterday and forget to post. That would be ridiculous.]

It was a shock that Diego hadn't been to the gym before now. In all fairness, the town kind of threw him for a loop at first. Now that he was settled he was back to training and making plans to do some vigilante stuff in Baltimore soon. As one does.

And seeing family again for the first time in over a decade brought out some anger in him so a punching bag was useful in that area as well.

Jesse had gone into the office this morning, expecting a quiet day.

Instead she'd gotten a hundred fax pages shoved into her arms. She had taken that as a sign she needed some air.

So there she was now, in the park, sitting on a bench, reading through said stack of fax pages while the frown across her brow grew greater by the minute. Oh, this isn't good.

She really did miss mobile phones at a time like this. This felt like a 'text the acronym WTF at Barry repeatedly' kind of situation.
